Provision of religious services within the parish of St Thomas's Blackpool

The charity aims to promote, for the benefit of the public, the 'Arts' - musical, visual, dramatic or any other arts, provided in each case that they are of recognised cultural or educational value, in particular the active involvement of young people in Lancashire in the cultural and social heritage of the African Caribbean community.

We provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age working in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop. We aim to add to the life and well being of the local community and offer parents and children a service which promotes equality and diversity.

ORGANISATION OF CHURCH MEETINGS, BIBLE STUDIES AND FAMILY EVENTS.

The charity's main activity is the provision of community transport services in the Ribble Valley and throughout Lancashire.

Operating in the Lancaster and Morecambe District we offer a one stop Drop In for people affected by Neurological conditions such as : MS, Parkinsons,ME, Stroke, epilepsy,motor neurones, MG, Huntingtons, ACC etcAddressing issues pertaining to Neuro illness such as isolation because of or as a direct result of neuro disability we offer support both practical and pastoral.

The objective of the charity is to support and further all or any charitable activities carried out in connection with the Church of England in the Diocese of Manchester.In particular the promotion of temperance, higher standards of moral life in the individual, the family and the community. The charity supports work in respect of delinquency, and those addicted to drugs and alcohol.

We are an animal rescue and rehoming charity, operating within and around Cumbria. We aim to help neglected or unwanted animals, and to arrange for the provision of good homes for them. It is our policy never to put down an animal except where legally required or on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.

Promoting the welfare of people with learning difficulties in Garstang and the surrounding area.

The Charitable purposes of The U3A is:The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development residing in Mawdesley and Neighbouring Villages

We conduct Islamic wedding ceremonies & funeral services. In addition teach children to read Arabic and read and write Urdu. Facilities are available for all members & non members to pray five times a day. We also cater for all religious ceremonies and social events. We have collections and send monies raised to third world countries.

The provision of Christian Worship, Praise and Prayer in the Parish of St Johns Whittle le Woods, Clayton le Woods and Clayton Brook.

Islamic Educaton facilities / Community support

The principle activity of the company is to provide ecumenical Christian chaplaincy services to business, public and voluntary communities throughout the North West.

To assist the School Governors in meeting their responsibilies to pay 10% of the costs of all improvements and external repairs to the school buildings.

Genesis Care provides day time support for older people with dementia and other age related disabilities.

Grants are awarded to voluntary groups throughout the North West, who provide sports, leisure and health orientated activities for young people. These groups include local sports clubs, scouts, youth clubs and children with special needs. We also provide grants for other charities involved with mountain recreational activities such as footpath repairs, mountain rescue and air ambulance.

Provide full day care from 12 months up to pre school children and wrap around care for children attending Asmall Primary School. We run for non profit and are continuing to offer the highest of care and education to our children.

The charity provides educational grants which enable students to attend Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire.By means of its investment properties, the charity also provides facilities to Rossall School so that it can carry out its charitable aims.

The people of the Parish Churches of Holy Trinity endeavour to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ by witness and example and promote the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Across the calendar year, the Society delivers an eclectic range of lectures and seminars. We offer a focal point for modern, bright ideas, drawing inspiration from a variety of subject areas including the Arts, Science and Technology, and Social Philosophy. We also present a programme specifically aimed at young people, with a view to increasing their interest in and awareness of the world.
