The Circuit:organises worship in each Church through the Preaching Plan. trains local preachers to spread the Gospel of Jesuspays ministers to serve their communities and witness to the Gospel. provides administrative support to its churches and offers a source of initiative and decision making through the Circuit Leadership Team.

To collect and preserve historical material relevant to Saddleworth.To provide displays and exhibitions using the collections.To work with schools and other organisations.To develop the Art gallery as a multi purpose space to provide cultural and social functions at the Museum.To act as a community resource for groups, charities and individuals to provide community services to the area.

Working in a wide range of underserved communities to address under representation, we use outdoor activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and mountain biking and environmental projects to engage children, young people, 'at risk' adults and families to support increased health, wellbeing, self-esteem, pro social skills, volunteering and leadership opportunities.

When planning our activities for the year, the PCC gave consideration to the Charity Commissions guidance on public benefit and in particular the specific guidance to charities concerned with the advancement of religion

To administer twenty almshouse properties.

We work in Asia mainly in India, Nepal, Thailand and Brazil where we help children and young people in these countries, giving them a home, food, clothing, an education and an opportuntiy to be able to go into the work place and earn enough to keep them and their famalies if they still have parents. Our homes are called Wyresdale Children's Homes as this is our home area.

To provide a residential setting which allows the development of social functioning skills of physically and/or mentally disabled persons, encourage user groups to develop community and/or sporting interests, stimulate the positive use of local facilities for legitimate activities and interest.

We promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing rugby union football andprovide opportunities for other sport, recreation or other leisure time occupations of such persons in our local area. We run mini, junior, mixed ability and open age rugby teams for both sexes and all age groups, and provide facilities to local schools.

Religious Activities

Drop in information & advice. Advocacy & support, training & accredited courses, carers outreach project, leisure & social activities, all provided with bi-lingual support for disabled people, carersr families and unemployed people

The objects of the CIO are(1) To promote the conservation of wildlife for the public benefit, by undertaking such activities that support the Eurasian Curlew and other wader species and their habitats in the South Lakes and elsewhere.(2) To advance education, for the public benefit, in the conservation of wildlife.

The Charity offers 3 services.1. A drop in support centre. All are welcome. We listen over a brew & cake, offer pamphlets on services in the Lancaster. Christian literature, Bibles and prayer on request - no pressure.2. A food bank requiring a referral from an agency, such as Citizens' Advice.3. Advocate for ACTS 435.

To promote digital inclusion of under privileged socio-economic groups via subsidised internet and telephony access.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. The provision of a youth club with a Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and the distribution of literature.

We maintain and equip the village Recreation Ground that serves a catchment population of around 1,000. It comprises a football pitch, multi-use games area, children's play area, cricket field and Grindleton Pavilion which houses a large community hall, smaller meeting room and changing rooms.Upkeep is funded by donations, fund-raising and hire income with grant application for capital projects.

The activity of the Charity is to promote and advance through community and voluntary work the social welfare, good health, cultural, social educational and economic wellbeing of the Bangladeshi communities based in Burnley and Pendle and other established communities throughout Lancashire.

CREATING A GROWING, CHANGING AND PASSIONATE CHURCH, WHERE INDIVIDUALS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BECOME PART OF A CHURCH FAMILY IN WHICH PEOPLE OF EVERY AGE, CLASS, ETHNICITY, AND LIFE EXPERIENCE FIND A HOME. WE ARE CREATING A CHURCH WHICH DEMONSTRATES GOD'S HEART FOR THE POOR, THE HURTING AND THE SPIRITUALLY LOST; A CHURCH WHICH EXHIBITS THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST.

The charity runs a programme of meditation classes and buddhist teachings, open to everyone, in Keighley and local towns. The charity also has a World Peace Cafe at its Keighley centre to help further promote its activities. A centre in Burnley is now open to the public 2 Days per week for classes and has a small cafe and shop facility and has purchased a property which is currently renovating

Pendle New Neighbours supports refugees and asylum seekers living in Pendle by: Advice, support, advocacy, interpreting, translating and signposting to other services. English classes (informal ESOL) and other opportunities for learning the language. Trips and visits.Relief of poverty or financial hardship by making small grants.Social and recreational events in the local community.
