PREACHING AND TEACHING THE GOSPEL

Wyre Juniors FC based at its two venues Preesall Park and Pilling Memorial Park, promotes community participation in healthy recreational youth football for the benefit of all children between 4-18yrs by the provision of facilities and FA qualified coaches to develop children's football skills and provide for their involvement in grass roots football.

We raise money through voluntary donations from Manchester United F.C. fans and then support children's organisations, which are dealing with homelessness in Manchester and are providing access to amateur sport, namely association football, in both Munich Germany and Belgrade Serbia for disadvantaged and disaffected children and young persons.

The memorial hall provides a meeting place for local organisations and a venue for social events. it is available for groups and individuals to hire for social and fund-raising events.

Preserve historical, architectural, constructional and natural or scientific heritage may exist in or near to the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire (in the form of buildings of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest or ancient monuments and otherwise as shall be consistent with Valley Heritage's objects).Advance the education of the public in heritage.

We provide activities for children and young people with autism, associated disorders, learning difficulties and their families. We provide a range of family activities inclusive of all age ranges, abilities and siblings. Our services are differentiated to meet the needs of children with autism and to support the whole family.

Scout Group

The charity has a small community centre wit free wifi access, supports children's and young people's activities, manages allotments, a park and community/social prescribing gardens. WCA is an active partner with the NHS, Council and other organisations. During the covid crisis WCA has led a whole town project to provide weekly food to over 1000 people in Fleetwood and surrounding areas.

Facilities and services are provided for the local community to offer their prayers and practice their faith alone or in congregation. Classes are provided for children and adults to learn the Quran and study about religious education and citizenship. Annual Islamic festivals are celebrated and meetings of inter faith activities.

VISION is a Christian charity working with young people in Rossendale. We run free activities for children and teenagers at our own venue, partner with local schools to deliver classes and assemblies, equip young volunteers with practical skills and opportunities to lead, and provide a professional youth counselling service.

MWSC was establishes in 2007 to support international workers and their dependents in Sefton and surrounding area who were experiencing discrimination, unfair treatment and financial hardship in particular in the fields of access to employment, housing, healthcare, welfare entitlements and financial services. Registered as a charity on January 2009 and in January 2014 converted to a CIO.

Nautical youth training for boys and girls aged between 10 yrs and 18 yrs with provision for continuance into adult positions on unit staff & committees. Full training programme based along the lines of Royal Navy customs and adventerous training activities.

ACQUISITION, RESTORATION AND OPERATION OF HISTORIC ITEMS OF RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK WITH THE LONGER TERM OBJECTIVE OF ESTABLISHING AN INDEPENDENT RAILWAY MUSEUM WITH APPROPRIATE FACILITIES FOR THE DISPLAY, STORAGE AND RESTORATION OF OF RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.

Provision of help for residents of Rochdale who are in need through sickness.

The charity promotes any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community across Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) and in particular focuses on delivering community action and volunteering projects. The charity helps the 7 members to work collabortively as an umbrella body improving effectiveness and co-ordination of support services to frontline VCFSE organisations.

Since the inception of the Trust the main area of funding has been in assisting the development and needs of the school. The policy of the Charitable Trust is to review on a regular basis requests for financial assistance which meet the objectives and criteria of the Trust.

To support and promote cultural, educational, recreation and entertainment for all the community in the area of Preston and surroundings. Crawshawbooth Pre-School is committed to providing quality care & education for children between the ages of 2 & 5 years.We aim to enhance the development & education of children under statutory school age in a parent involving, community based group.To provide a safe, secure & stimulating environment & to work within a framework which enables quality of opportunity for all children & families.

The charity aims are to provide holidays and social events for disabled and disadvantaged children, and provide support through respite for their parents and carers. The group is totally voluntary run and provides for children :1. who need the opportunity to share social experiences2. who would not otherwise have a holiday3. who's parents need a rest from caring for them through the year

The centre provides a place of worship for people of Muslim faith. It also acts as a meeting place for the congregation. Annual faith based events are also celebrated there by the local community.
