The WUBC enables the facilitation and provision of commemorative events, artwork, music, talks, research and educational resources focused on 1820s massacres, protests and risings in industrial north England. Specifically we organise annual commemorative events; archival research; educational materials; talks & guided walks; networking & collaborations with local community, arts & heritage groups.

Working with school to raise money through events and activities in support of school projects.

The provision of services for the advancement of Orthodox Jewish Religious Education and the advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion

To alleviate physical, mental or financial distress or hardship of persons living locally and their families and friends affected by cancer, by financial support, holding support meetings, home visits, or provision of transport to hospital. Finance is obtained by holding fund-raising events, through charitable donations and through income generated by our charity shop.

We were founded in 1966 and incorporated with this registration in 2012. We are a commissioning agency working in collaboration to create high quality art in response to the rich and diverse contexts of the dramatic and often beautiful post-industrial landscape of the Pennines, hand in hand with its resilient and resourceful community. We are a small committee run pre-school with 24 places. We are OFSTED registered and were graded GOOD by OFSTED in 2018. The purpose of our charity is to give our children the best possible start to their education and help them to reach their full potential. We aim to provide excellent care and learning opportunities for all who attend our setting.

We promote social inclusion in the Lancaster and Morecambe District by befriending people who are homeless, about to become homeless or who have recently been accommodated after a period of homelessness. We prevent beneficiaries from becoming socially excluded by helping them obtain and maintain tenancies and by supporting them to engage with services to create and sustain healthy ways of living.

We arrange a variety of recreational activities for disabled children, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families. These include theatre and cinema trips, craft sessions, soft play/sensory sessions, day trips to farms and zoos, tramolining, fun and float sessions in a swimming pool.
