We are a family church, committed to serving God, one another and our community. Our mission is to see lives transformed by God's grace and power. On Sundays we come together to worship, hear the preaching of God's word and enjoy fellowship. There is a Sunday school and creche for the children. We have a mid-week prayer meeting, parent and toddler group, kidz club and youth club.

The activities of the trust are to advance the Buddhist faith, in particular the Serene Reflection mediation school of Buddhism (also known as Soto Zen Buddhism).

Across the calendar year, the Society delivers an eclectic range of lectures and seminars. We offer a focal point for modern, bright ideas, drawing inspiration from a variety of subject areas including the Arts, Science and Technology, and Social Philosophy. We also present a programme specifically aimed at young people, with a view to increasing their interest in and awareness of the world.

Clapham Film Unit provides training and equipment to enable people to tell their own stories on film. We keep an archive of the work created and organise screenings. We provide advice about fund raising, employment and further study in the media industry. We provide a network of filmmakers and a mentor system.

We are a faith community seeking to reach out to our neighborhood, networking and transforming the community. We provide a building as a community hub and run a variety of services and activities from the building on our own and in partnership with others. We have a passion for serving children and families. We work with partners on a town, national and international basis.

The charity aims to educate the public on technical matters relating to railways, their construction and maintenance, engines, steam tractions and engineering skills and the importance of the railway in the industrial and social history of the towns and villages on the line from Heywood to Rawtenstall.

We provide pre-school education for 2-5yr old children. We support the children and their families by offering flexible childcare provision, whilst maintaining reasonable rates.

The Charity has been created to benefit the residents of Broughton in Amounderness, Preston, Lancashire and to undertake commercial activities on behalf of Broughton Parish Council for the benefit of the Broughton community, primarily by the application of Community Infrastructure Levy funds, held by the Parish Council.

The charity promotes the appreciation of the arts among the general public by the display, in the principal rooms at Tabley House, of the Tabley House Collection of paintings, furniture and "objets d'art" on loan to it from the University of Manchester.

The charity provides and maintains ten almshouses and the surrounding grounds, situated in the Parish of Lathom. The almshouses are occupied by residents several of whom have disabilities.
