A season of 4 plays are presented in the Blackburn Empire Theatre Blackburn. All other activities take place in the club room adjacent to the theatre.

The provision of Scouting and Guiding groups from Beavers to Explorer Scouts and Rainbows to Guides with all the relevant activities and experiences. We also provide a base for a local pre-school, craft, exercise classes and for any other local group that needs somewhere to meet or hold an event.

The Haffner Orchestra is a very good amateur concert orchestra, normally giving three public concerts a year in Lancaster.

The objects of People First Foundation are:3.1. To advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of the public through providing aplace of worship, religious services, space for meditation and sharinginformation on spiritual Islam to support and enlighten others about theIslamic religion.3.2. Primarily to encourage interest in Industrial Heritage, particularly the stationary steam engine as widely used in the textile industry throughout the north of England. The Society has developed a museum at the Bolton Steam Museum where its collection of some 29 steam engines can be seen working in steam by the public on regular Open Days.

We are one church, with two buildings providing worship & prayer meetings & social activities. Facilities are used by many people from toddlers to seniors. We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We amalgamated and adopted the joint name of Cornerstone Family Church on 18/11/2018

The charity provides almshouse accommodation for local elderly people of little financial means

The charity provides and maintains a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the local areas for meetings, classes and various kinds of recreation and to support community life. Currently there are 14 groups and classes which meet regularly and on a weekly basis - throughout the day and in the evening.

BSYW is an interdenominational Christian charity founded in 1995. With the support of local churches and individual Christians the BSYW team go into local primary schools taking assemblies, RE classes, lunchtime and after school clubs. The team ethos is not to preach or convert but to inform and lead local children to a better understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith.

To pursue the objects of the charity with all resources available to the charity.

The Joint Advisory Committee met on 13th July 2012 to discuss the scheme of allocation for 2012/13. The total allocations approved amounted to 46,500 and were awarded to Lancashire County Council, Burnley Borough Council and various individuals and voluntary organisations. In addition the fund made a separate allocation of 5,000 to the Burnley Mechanics Institure Trust.

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Voice delivers projects with children and young people aimed at helping them to explore and express the Christian faith and grow in their musical skills. We run school and community projects, local music groups, larger Junior Choir and Voice Youth Choir & Orchestra ensembles, songwriting courses and music residentials. We are based in the North West but connect with people from across the country.

Islamic Education Centre

The relief of persons in need resident in the area of benefit who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm by relieving their suffering or assisting their recovery.

To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ primarily, but not exclusively amongst the Chinese in Preston and the surrounding area. When possible there shall be sunday worship and sunday school. There shall be bible study at two weekly intervals.
