We are one church, with two buildings providing worship & prayer meetings & social activities. Facilities are used by many people from toddlers to seniors. We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We amalgamated and adopted the joint name of Cornerstone Family Church on 18/11/2018

to further religious and charitable work of Church of England and Methodist Churchto help young people to develop their capacitiesto award scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries or maintenance allowances to any educational establishment to persons under the age of 18 yearsto further Scout /Guide Associations or other charitable youth organisation

The charity makes grants to the classes shown in A8c for the benefit of children and young persons in need, hardship or distress for the purposes shown in A8a. Grants are made entirely at the discretion of the trustees. We do not make grants for computer equipment, education, overseas travel or individual holidays.

PROTECTING AND ENHANCING GREEN SPACES ACROSS LANCASTER FOR THE BENEFIT OF WILDLIFE, LANDSCAPE AND THE COMMUNITY.

Our main activity is the provision of suicide prevention training to the parents, friends, family and carers responsible for safeguarding young people across Lancashire, including in schools, colleges, universities and clubs. We also promote awareness of the importance of suicide prevention ,encouraging positive mental health and suicide awareness at all levels of education

The charity provides almshouse accommodation for local elderly people of little financial means

The charity provides and maintains a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the local areas for meetings, classes and various kinds of recreation and to support community life. Currently there are 14 groups and classes which meet regularly and on a weekly basis - throughout the day and in the evening.

The Haffner Orchestra is a very good amateur concert orchestra, normally giving three public concerts a year in Lancaster.

Community groups work together to secure external funding for community projects and to provide help and assistance to each other on community consultation and community events. We work with Hyndburn Borough Council to secure 'Green Flag' status for our parks and as a forum for raising concerns and sharing best practice for the way our green spaces are managed.

We have regular church services on sunday mornings where we worship, hear from God and spend time in fellowship. Also we have Bible studys, homeless meals throughout the week, hour prayer and Monthly worship nights where we encounter with God for three hours

Relief of PovertyReligious Activities

The Joint Advisory Committee met on 13th July 2012 to discuss the scheme of allocation for 2012/13. The total allocations approved amounted to 46,500 and were awarded to Lancashire County Council, Burnley Borough Council and various individuals and voluntary organisations. In addition the fund made a separate allocation of 5,000 to the Burnley Mechanics Institure Trust.

1. Holding of worship services, meetings, seminars, conferences, and training courses.2. Making grants of money for the relief of poverty.3. Supporting missionary activities at home and overseas, including the support of existing churches and christian ministries in other countries.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is passionate about releasing people from debt, poverty and its causes. CAP brings good news, hope and freedom.Every client is visited in their own home, while CAP do all the negotiating with creditors to reduce the outstanding debts. CAP gives advice on a suitable budget so that clients meet their debts while local volunteers offer them ongoing support.

The main objective of the charity is the provision of services to eliminate poverty, to promote wellbeing and the advancement of Islamic education. The provision of these services is to make a positive social impact in order to boost health, education and build a support network for the communities we operate in. The Charity also operates a foodbank and provides other support to those in need.

Living Faith Fellowship holds weekly Christian worship services.Weekly Bible studies are held.Weekly Prayer meetings.

Islamic Education Centre

Using our purpose built Studio volunteers run workshops, discussion groups, lectures, demonstrations, and visits for people interested in painting, drawing and crafts or just with a love of art. Members show their work in numerous Society exhibitions for residents and visitors to our seaside town. We financially support art in the community, invite the public to our events and to join our numbers.

Maintain the hall for the use by the parishioners and local community.

WE ORGANISE A VARIED SELECTION OF EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ST ANDREW'S SCHOOL.

Rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, orphaned and injured wildlife.

The relief of persons in need resident in the area of benefit who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm by relieving their suffering or assisting their recovery.

FCHS conducts weekly Bollywood dance classes for health and well-being of adults and children in Fylde Coast.Balvikas classes for cultural, spiritual and physical fitness education for children in Fylde Coast Area.We run monthly gathering for local Hindu and wider community.
