Liverpool Brass Band aims to maintain, improve and advance the education of the public and its members through the promotion of education and appreciation of good music of all kinds amongst persons of all ages.

We provide social and practical activities for isolated or vulnerable men in Lancaster and the surrounding area, as well as providing signposting to other more specialist organisations. Our aim is to help alleviate social isolation and to promote better physical and mental health and general wellbeing. We provide a safe space for clients to meet, converse and share interests.

To provide welfare services to the blind and partially sighted within the local government districts of Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.

The charity provides homes for the elderly in the area of benefice.

The advancement of the Christian Faith worldwide through local & International Church / Seminar speaking engagements, Radio & TV , Word of Faith Training centres, International & Local mission trips, Humanitarian Aid & disaster & poverty relief to the un-reached, underprivileged and financially poor groups , mainly in South & Southeast Asia and Spain

Making donations to national charities and to local charities in the Bury and Rossendale areas of Lancashire and Greater Manchester

Civic Pride Rossendale's aim is to make the Rossendale Valley a cleaner, tidier more colourful urban environment.Our volunteers do this by picking litter and by improving and maintaining public gardens. We maintain the ASDA embankment, the Metal Tree Bed, Trickett's Memorial Ground, Haslingden Road gardens, as well as many, many others. We also install and maintain the hanging baskets.

The Society was formed in 1965 to establish a circle of friends of Towneley Hall. The aim is to help stimulate public interest in the Hall and to protect, preserve and enhance the amenities of the Hall (and gardens). There are also social events at Christmas and Easter. These raise money to provide amenities for the Hall.

Our prime objectives are to care for, listen to, and help people on the streets of Preston and South Ribble (North), to relieve sickness and hardship by signposting vulnerable and needy people to where they may find help. We provide a uniformed team of Christian volunteers to be a presence where required by the Community and Police and are accountable to the Community through local PACT meetings.

TO PROVIDE A MISSION HERITAGE CENTRE AT SUNDERLAND POINT BY ACQUIRING AND REFURBISHING THE EXISTING MISSION CHURCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND THE VISITING PUBLIC. TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE AT THE CENTRE SUPPLEMENTARY EDUCATION AND INSPIRATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, THE COMMUNITY AND THE VISITING PUBLIC BY THE PROVISION OF SPACE AND FACILITIES AT THE CENTRE FOR MEETINGS AND LECTURES.

Village Hall used by the community of Newton in Bowland and sorrounding area

Crown Green Bowling - ladies & gents all ages. Over 60s meetings. Whist & dominoes weekly all welcome.

The charity is preserving tramcar Paisley 16 and aims to return it to operational condition. It is currently on display in the Tramtown exhibition in Blackpool

Tandem cycling for visually impaired people

HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE TO DEVELOP TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL UTELISING THE PROGRESSIVE PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES ORGANISED AND RUN BY THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION

Provision of wheelchair dance and wheelchair dancing classes and competitions to persons of all ages and all disabilities through the medium of inclusive dance training events.

The objects of Preston Opera are to entertain and educate the public in the operatic arts by promoting productions of operas, operettas, operatic concerts and recitals of educative value.

Inbetweenears raises money to help young adults from 18 to 40 who have brain tumours. The charity raises awareness of this dreadful disease and contribute some of the money raised to Brain Tumour Research.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BY SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS MINISTRIES WORKING AMONG ETHNIC GROUPS OF THE WORLD

To provide facilities for healthy recreation (particularly gardening and horticulture) and leisure-time pursuits in the interest of social welfare for the inhabitants of Fleetwood and surrounding areas who have need of such facilities by reason of their infirmity or disablement, youth, age, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
