The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance, or by giving or taking part in such musical events as the Committee recommends to the Choir, or competing at Music Festivals at the discretion of the Musical Director. To help such charitable institutions or purposes as the Committee shall determine.

As an affiliated body of the Spiritualists National Union apart from holding church services and educational classes we also hold open days and fund raising activities for the general public.We support our local Wish Centre with items donated and also our local homeless charity with donations of tinned and packet food donated at our Harvest service.

Rotary Club of Wigan is part of the everyday life of Wigan and is a catalyst for a number of landmark community developments in health, education and culture. It provides support for local charities and financial assistance to charities involved in vital humanitarian work in needy parts of the world. As part of the worldwide Rotary movement, our work is mirrored by Rotary clubs across the country.

Advancing the education of pupils in the school in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance education of the pupils

Fusion Church conducts services on Sundays, which include worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship. The church members also pray for individual needs and wider needs in the local area and beyond. The church also give financial and other support to people at the discretion of the trustees. The church also gives financial aid to other charitable organisations to meet the needs of the disadvantaged.

1. Charity makes grants to students attending the school who are taking part in a variety of out-of-school activities of adventure, experiance training etc and 2. For school projects-to help and enrich student learning and experience, not normally provided from the "education budget", and 3. Provides awards to students for achievement, endeavour and reliability.

Steeton male voice choir gives concerts mainly in its own area but also in other parts of the country and abroad. It performs in a wide variety of concert halls, cathedrals & churches but also does concerts and workshops in nursing homes & schools.

Public performances in a variety of venues ; wide range of musical programmes ; marking special occasions ; encouraging new ,especially young , musicians ,both vocal and instrumental .

Manna House works for the benefit of the public in South lakeland, providing advice, advocacy and a drop-in support centre for those who are homeless, vulnerably housed, lonely or needing help.

To pursue the objectives of the Guide Association UK by assisting girls and young women in the Guiding County of Lancashire West to fulfil their potential and take an active and responsible role in society.

The object of the charity is the provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation,with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants

The hall provides a venue for various activities rather than organising events ourselves.

Community hall.

1. The advancement of the Christian religion as defined in the Scriptures;2. The purchase, repair and maintenance of accommodation for a person engaged in the work of Christ Church, Blackburn and his or her family;3. To enable that person to work in supporting the church's ministry to children and young people, parent and toddler groups and the general public and elderly groups.

projects in Zambia and India - providing feeding program for poor communities in Zambia, supporting crop growing project in Zambia. Supporting students financially in India and Zambia through established bible schools. Empowering women through conferences, workshops, seminars. Supporting Pastors and their families in Zambia and India to help relieve financial burdens
