The objects of the charity are the relief either generally or individually of persons resident in the County of Lancashire who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for such items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

Tigerlily Trust provides specialist support to bereaved parents whose baby or child dies at any stage of pregnancy or later in childhood. Working in Cumbria & Lancashire to advance & protect the emotional & psychological health of bereaved families.Our service provision includes information, resources & support for bereaved parents at their time of loss & ongoing throughout their grief journey.

We aim to provide educational, social and leisure opportunities for retired people or those near retirement age.

We run regular fund raising events for the whole community and rent on a weekly basis to theOver 60's for whist dominoes, coffee and a chat; Irish dancing classes, Art classes and term time only mornings pre school nursery. On a regular basis the village drama group meet to rehearse and stage regular productions and a friendship group meets for talks and demonstrations.

A model engineering society based at Cinderbarrow Picnic site at Yealand Redmayne, Carnforth, Lancashire where run a Miniature Railway that is open to the public for rides on Sundays from spring to autumn. We aim to develop a interest in engineering in miniature by our activities.

Advance the education of pupils on the school, through developing effective relationships between staff, parents and also the engaging in activities or providing facilities/equipment which supports the school and advances the education of the pupils. This is achieved through various fundraising activities throughout the year and also of the holding of social events for the pupils.

The charity exists to offer assistance to individuals or groups who require first aid, rescue or removal from underground environments in Northern England and the Isle of Man.The charity is also able to offer educational facilities to individuals or groups on the dangers of the underground environment (in particular disused mines) in Northern England and the Isle of Man.

Social events, community gatherings, private & public meetings, exercise classes, film clubs, music and specialist groups for the benefit of the local, and wider, community.

We aim to preserve, protect and improve the British Spotted Pony.We keep studbooks, foster interest in the breed. We encourage and promote the production of the British Spotted Pony for riding, driving and showing. We produce newsletters and have a website. We hold an annual show and we help & advise members on all aspects of keeping and breeding spotted ponies.

The charity brings people from all walks of life together, to sing, play and perform. It is an ideal setting for so many reasons, it helps people with Dementia Alzheimer?s speech impediments and much more. It brings the young and the elderly together through their mutual love of music, social inclusion for people from the more vulnerable backgrounds now feel valued and have a purpose.

To engage in original research in the designated fields of the William Temple Foundation; to provide facilities, resources, training, etc to students, practioners and others working in the same fields; to maintain links with institutions and groups working in related areas, nationally and internationally and to provide opportunities for the dissemination of learning through seminars &publications.

A community based Choral Society which rehearses and performs a varied repertoire of classical and modern choral music. All singers are welcome. On occasion, we work with other musical organisations in the area, such as Settle Orchestra, Skipton Music Centre, RNCM soloists, Settle Voices and Settle Operatic Society to perform concerts.

During the year to 31 March 2015 the total of grants to organisations and individuals that was approved amounted to Seven Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty Four pounds.
