To promote for the public benefit education (including social and physical training) of people from the ages of 11 to 19 inclusive in the North West of England in such ways as the charity trustees think fit.

We give local children with disabilities and their families the support and platform they need to make a difference to their lives and issues. This includes helping them ensure their needs and views are represented. Offering supervised adapted cycle sessions, supporting inclusive cycling based in Hyndburn but allowing children with disabilities access to us from outlying areas of East Lancashire.

Barley WI exists to support women in our local village community and to promote friendship, develop creative skills, campaign on National and local WI issues and to be involved in activity to support village life.

The relief of financial need and sufferings among victims of natural or other kinds of disasters in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies organisation and/or countries affected including provision of medical aid.

The object of the choir is the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge, education and appreciation of such music by means of public performances.

The objects of the Charity are 'to promote maintain improve and advance education particularly in the area of Literature and the written word and the formulation preparation and establishment of schemes to render such education accessible to the public.'

The building and management of a community Parish Hall for Over Wyresdale

The charity provides Christian religious services, recreational and educational activities in the Morecambe and Lancaster areas, and meets in The Post Office Building, Market Street, Morecambe. It also aims to provide prevention and relief in cases of poverty.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Mossley and surrounding areas, by the provision of coaching for playing of football. The Club provide coaching to allow over 150 young people from the loacl community to enjoy football in a well supervised and trained environment every week.

Preston Cecilian Choral Society is an 100-strong choir based in the city of Preston, Lancashire, UK. It sings several concerts a year in venues across the city of Preston and elsewhere in the vicinity.

Ormskirk Music Society comprises a choir and orchestra which perform a number of concerts a year in and around Ormskirk, Lancashire. Our repertoire is varied, from established classics of the symphonic & choral-orchestral canon, to musical byways, light music and works by living composers.

Lancaster and Morecambe City of Sanctuary objects are the relief of poverty among Refugees and Asylum Seders living in Lancaster and Morecambe by providing them with grants, items and services.

Environmental and Community Work in Stacksteads, Bacup, Lancashire

Provision of community facilities for use by local clubs and organisations.We Maintain the Rimington Memorial Institute for the use by village organisations e.g. Bowling club , Table Tennis club , Snooker Club , W.I. and hold social events e.g. bands , talks to raise funds to maintain the building .

The Friends of the Grand support the Blackpool Grand Theatre in different ways. They raise funds from subscriptions and social events to finance projects, primarily aimed at enhancing the comfort of our patrons. Over the last 30 years the Friends have contributed in excess of ?1million towards projects including the provision of new toilets, improved disabled access,i.e.chair lift new box office.

Village Hall. Situated in a rural area and offers a central point for the residents of that area. Offers social events; across the range of age groups e.g. Brownies and Rainbows to the Over Sixties club; interests, balllroom dancing, quilting; resouces, houses the mobile post office.
