Giving financial support to people in need who live in Radcliffe, Unsworth or Whitefield

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Blackpool by assisting in the provision of facilities for playing sports capable of improving health including but not limited to Cricket at Blackpool Cricket Club's grounds.

Downham Village Pre School Group.

Promoting for the benefit of the public the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural enviroment. Educating children adults on how we can improve our own physical and mental wellbeing by being in the outside world. Blackburns Farm educates people of all ages on how they can improved BNG, whilst also improving their own mental health and wellbeing.

Service

We fund raise to support charitable work in which members can feel a personal involvement. During the year our major gifts have have supported Rotary Foundation, together with 1 International and several local charities

Education of the public through the publication of monographs and editions of documents concerned with Lancashire and Cheshire for the purpose of furthering knowledge of their history.

General fund raising activities to support the learning of our school pupils. Activities include Raffles, Social Evenings.

Parent, Teachers and Friends Association

The objectives of the group shall be to educate the public in the arts and sciences and in particular the art and science of music by the promotion primarily of the works of Gilbert & Sullivan in concert and operatic form. To assist in raising funds for charitable purposes.

We aim to promote social inclusion by providing a local network group that encourages members of the excluded community to participate equally and more effectively with the wider community. Increasing, or co-ordinating opportunities for members of the excluded community irrespective of race, religion, culture and creed.

To promote the understanding of our heritage through archaeological digs, research, field walks, visits and other methods. To encourage the community to benefit from the physical and mental health that such activities carry. Based in Rossendale we welcome new members, particularly those who can contribute to our knowledge.

To support the charitable work of the Lancashire Army Cadet Force in such ways as the committee shall think fit; in particular but not exclusively by the provision of grants and donations.

PROVIDING PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS OF ANY KIND THE MEANS OF VISITING BURNLEY. BUILDING SELF CONFIDENCE AND INDEPENDENCE. HELPING PEOPLE COPING WITH PHYSICAL HEALTH ISSUES AND DIFFICULTY GETTING ABOUT. WE PROVIDE SCOOTERS AND WHEELCHAIRS FOR PEOPLE TO ACCESS SHOPS AND SERVICES. WE ALSO HIRE WHEELCHAIRS, SCOOTER AND OTHER THINGS ON A WEEKLY BASIS. WE ARE STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS.

The trustees maintain and manage two almshouses on behalf of the Trust. These almshouses were left in trust by George Gregson of Heald House, Leyland.

Providing for the College such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.Promoting the education of students at the College.Providing amenities or facilities for the academic staff of the College so as to assist them in the better performance of their duties.

PROVISION OF FUNDING FOR CHARITIES AND CHARITABLE CAUSES WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT

To further such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion may from time to time decide, within the Fylde area, including the relief of poverty, sickness and distress, the advancement of education, and other charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the Fylde, primarily but not exclusively by the provision of grants and financial support.
