We raise money and fund activities and resources to benefit members of Freckleton C of E primary school and the local community.

Provide Financial Support for First Responder Group within Tarleton, Banks and Hesketh Bank to respond to Emergency Health matters particularly Cardio Vascular. Provide static medical equipment at Social and Work place environments within Tarleton, Banks and Hesketh Bank

THE MAKING OF GRANTS

Our PTFA works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities. These help to build the school community, break down barriers and help fund raise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school.

Memory cafes, also known as dementia cafes, provide safe spaces where people can go for a cup of tea and chat with experienced professionals or others affected by dementia. There are also games, quizzes and craft sessions which those attending can take part in along with outside speakers who invited to give talks.

Downham Village Pre School Group.

To advance the education of the pupils in the school by engaging in activities which support the school. To provide facilities or items for education at the school. To develop relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

To teach and practice the art and science of photography.

Giving financial support to people in need who live in Radcliffe, Unsworth or Whitefield

The Charity supports people with Mental health problems and their onward support post release ( from prison) This involves signposting them to local Gp surgeries and locating services.It further supports widows and their dependents.A sewing school has been opened to equip these unfortunate dependents in gaining skills and a trade to become independent and to support siblings

Parents teachers friends association of Haslingden High School.

To provide a festival environment for both young people and adults in music, singing, musical instruments, speech and drama on an annual basis so that the participants gain experience and enjoyment in the different performing arts. Classes are almost always competitive with the Festival bringing in professional adjudicators to develop talents and provide feedback.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Croston and the surrounding district without the distinction of sex, religious, political or other opinions, primarily but not exclusively, by advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

To advance the education of the public in the art of music making and further the development of public appreciation in the said art, by presenting concerts and musical festivals and to similar activities and to encourage the musical education of young players by the provision of tuition and training.

Provision of Grants to appropriate charitable groups primarily operating in the South Fylde area of Lancashire.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Blackpool by assisting in the provision of facilities for playing sports capable of improving health including but not limited to Cricket at Blackpool Cricket Club's grounds.

Maintenance and management of building for the joint use of the units of Crawshawbooth Scouts and Guides including the provision of facilities for the recreation and leisure time occupation of the youth of the Parish of Crawshawbooth. Fundraising activities to enable the same.

The provision of scholarships and prizes for certain students in arts subjects at Wigan and Leigh College.

The provision of scholarships and prizes for certain students of scientific subjects at Wigan and Leigh College.

We fund raise to support charitable work in which members can feel a personal involvement. During the year our major gifts have have supported Rotary Foundation, together with 1 International and several local charities

Education of the public through the publication of monographs and editions of documents concerned with Lancashire and Cheshire for the purpose of furthering knowledge of their history.

General fund raising activities to support the learning of our school pupils. Activities include Raffles, Social Evenings.
