To bring together for mutual activities special need and able bodied persons. To interact and help people socialise

TO GENERATE FUNDS TO PROVIDE A FREE BONFIRE AND FIREWORK DISPLAY FOR THE ENTIRE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA, AND TO PROVIDE A CHRISTMAS TREE AND CRIB FOR DISPLAY IN THE CENTRE OF THE VILLAGE. THE LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE IS AT AN OPEN AIR CAROL SERVICE WITH MUSIC PROVIDED BY LOCAL MUSICIANS AND SCHOOLS. THERE IS A VISIT FROM FATHER CHRISTMAS WHERE EACH CHILD IS GIVEN A SMALL GIFT.

Education of the young in Lancashire

Fund raising events including: raffle, Spring Gala, Bunny Fun, Christmas Fayre, Discos Money spent on children to include; Reading materials ,PSHE programme for school, medals, Leavers Beach Party, Educational school trips, Themed days.

Raise money for school projects

Bringing upto 16 Belarussian children to UK each year for 1month. They live with host families. They have medical, dental and general health checks. Arranging full programme of events and activities. Their immune system is boosted and lifespan extended. Fubding for this is achieved by group events eg. race nights, local community fund raising.

Organises activities both indoors and outdoors for boys and girls aged 6-14.

Fund raising activities to raise funds in respect of the school

To promote the improvement of the standard of riding and the advancement of road safety.

Raising money for local charities as well as some overseas foundations

We provide a day center for Adults with Learning disabilities that include Horticulture /Crafts /Art. /guidance and advisory support / health guidance, social center providing the facilities of a disco general discussion groups and Bar ,along with seasonal events.

The Society was formed in 1965 to establish a circle of friends of Towneley Hall. The aim is to help stimulate public interest in the Hall and to protect, preserve and enhance the amenities of the Hall (and gardens). There are also social events at Christmas and Easter. These raise money to provide amenities for the Hall.

Financial assistance to sick and injured stray cats via local veterinary practices. Financial assistance with veterinary fees offered to local pensioners via nominated local veterinary practices. Occasional financial assiustance to local cat owners in receipt of qualifying State benefits subject to Trustees' discretion and available funds.

To enable women to take an effective part in rural life and development.

Provides practical workshops and a Summer School within the field of early music.

Provision of amateur classical music making, performance opportunities, education via performance.

The trust seeks to promote youth development by supporting young people, aged 25 or under, to attend courses and activities of an educational, cultural, sporting, adventuresome or character-building nature. It is willing to entertain written applications for financial assistance from young people living or working within 15 miles of the town hall in Blackpool.

The Charity exists to advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public. It's main activity to this end has been the aquistion of a property to provide premises for Wellfield Church to meet, and from which to run initiatives in the wider community. The Charity has also been available to provide support and advice for Wellfield Church
