The Choir gives concerts both charitable and non-charitable for the benefit of local communities and also for communities further afield; this year we have given concerts for various charities including Yorkshire air ambulance,Prince of Wales Hospice(Pontefract), Knottingley company shop. We have also raised money by concerts and other means for the Alzheimer's Society.In 2024 Prostate Cancer.

The Oxford Climate Alumni Network (OxCAN) is a UK-registered charity and global alumni network of the University of Oxford. We host a network built on Oxford alumni connections, to help people collaborate on mitigating and adapting to climate change. TICCIH IS THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION DEVOTED TO THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, INTERPRETATION AND PROMOTION OF THE INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE. IT HAS A RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT WITH ICOMOS, THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL ON MONUMENTS AND SITES, TO ADVISE ON INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE SITES AND IS ACTIVELY CONCERNED WITH THE PROMOTION OF WORLD HERITAGE SITES OF AN INDUSTRIAL NATURE.

Meditation in Action supports and encourages the practice of meditation while supporting the goals of humanitarian and ecological projects. We do this by organising and facilitating a varied programme of residential and non-residential retreats, day-long events, and meetings in Europe.
