To provide access to a music education to young people in particular by the provision of a music school and centre of excellence in music education and performance.

Together for Peace (T4P) is a Leeds-based charity working to develop and support cooperative projects that strengthen communities and promote peace-making.

To raise awareness, through education and training, of the daily communication and accessibility issues facing the growing number of people with sight or hearing loss & provide support/resources in line with Memorandum & Articles of Association. Provision of one of the largest BSL Interpreting Agencies in the North of England.

Supporting people with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties (LDD) to live happy, independent lives and providing opportunities for them to have their voice heard. Key to this are our specialist advocacy, sport activities and user-led consultation and quality monitoring service offer to empower people with LDD and ensure they can access the same opportunities as everyone else.

The charity's main objective remains the control of feral cats, by limiting their numbers throught neutering and returning to site, by providing veterinary care where necessary and by finding homes for kittens and tame stray cats. Each year the charity manages to neuter more than 1000 cats, home more than 1000 cats and provide veterinary care, other than neutering, for some 750 cats.

The RCCG, Power Connections activities include:1. Worship and Prayer - learning about the Gospel through periodic bible study andincreasing awareness of God?s presence by spreading His love.2. Service - provision of pastoral care for the people living in the community3. Missionary activities - developing confidence in evangelism and in capacity to spreadof God and faith to all.

Full day care provider for children aged from 3months to 5 yrs

We work with young people aged 7 to 19 years, surrounded by drugs, crime, violence and loss from areas of high deprivation, within Leeds - based in Beeston & Holbeck, South Leeds. We provide activities and support for young people and their broader families, running weekly, drop-in's, mentoring and group sessions, that enable those involved to holistically grow, have fun and belong.

The prinicpal activity of the Charity is that of the furtherance of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, to build up the faith of the Christian believers, to share in the training of Christian workers, to promote Christian education, to advance the Christian religion and to relieve the poor and needy and the sick and elderly.

To promote mental health amongst vulnerable people in Yorkshire who through their social circumstances are in need and in particular to promote and support schemes where such people may receive training and develop skills for employment

Leeds Baby Bank gives support to families in crisis in the Leeds area by providing emergency baby essentials, food, clothing and baby equipment. All funds raised from the night will go directly into help children aged 0-5 years old.

Armley Helping Hands is supports older people in deprived inner-city Leeds, We were set up in 1995, by a group of local people and community activists. They were concerned about the welfare of local older people. by providing a range of services, advice, support and varied social and healthy living activities, enabling older people to live independently and to pro-actively participate.

Burmantofts Senior Action mission is to enhance the lives of older people aged 60 plus in and around LS9 East Leeds. BSA has a focus on improving the quality of peoples' lives by helping them to live independently in their own homes, reduce social isolation, loneliness and assist with individual support with weekly activities such as lunch clubs and fitness groups.

WiSE's core services include befriending, information, and advice, grass cutting, a transport scheme, a memory cafe to support those living with dementia and their carers and regular social activities to reduce isolation and loneliness. The charity also runs the WiSE Owl cafe which is a highly popular community cafe based in Boston Spa.

Linking refugees and asylum seekers with local volunteers who assist them to make friends and connections (Welcome and Connect), to learn English (English at Home), to find respite from destitution (Hosting & Housing, Hardship Fund). Grant Making Trust

We provide support to those affected by asbestos related conditions, across Yorkshire, Humberside and North Nottinghamshire, to those diagnosed plus their families. Every year, our charity receives over 300 new referrals and we help each individual access (on average) over £24,000 income, plus providing emotional and bereavement support and organising social groups and events for our service users

To promote the social, cultural, religious and educational aspirations of Muslims living in Leeds, With a clear vision to develop a more cohesive and sustainable community by building partnerships with the local people of Leeds and the region.

We aim to improve the lives and opportunities of children and young people with Down Syndrome in Leeds by offering regular groups and activities, individual support and advocacy for families, raising awareness and challenging preconceptions in the wider community. We run 15 sessions per month including Speech and Language groups, family activities and age related groups. Over 70 families attend.
