Better Action For Families (BAFF) deliver healthy group sessions to parent/carers, adults/children with learning disabilities their families and the community. BAFF also facilitate the Carers Reference Group for Leeds and support carers who volunteer for an independent project the Good Lives Leaders, who visit residential homes of adults with learning disabilities and submit a report to QCC.

THE HALL IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE & USE BY LOCAL GROUPS INCLUDING GUIDES, ART GROUP, DANCE CLASSES, DRAMA GROUP, YORKSHIRE COUNTRY WOMEN, CHILDREN'S GROUPS, SENIOR CITIZENS & INDIVIDUALS. NAMED TRUSTEES ARE THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

We run a community hub through which we offer a safe and welcoming space by hosting activities which bring together people from different cultures, ages and backgrounds who live locally.All activities are based on community consultation and we prioritise groups run by local people themselves.Example activities are music workshops, fun days, craft and cooking groups, celebrating festivals etc.

Horsforth Shed aims to reduce social isolation by allowing people to connect, converse and create in an enjoyable and supportive environment. It operates from a totally renovated former Scout Building and has fully equipped workshop space and a social area.Since opening in 2021 it has engaged with variety of groups from school children to older people. Affiliated to the UK Men's Shed Association.

The charity makes grants to the classes shown in A8c for the benefit of children and young persons in need, hardship or distress for the purposes shown in A8a. Grants are made entirely at the discretion of the trustees. We do not make grants for computer equipment, education, overseas travel or individual holidays.

Four 19th Century weavers' cottages forming a 'living history' museum providing education for children and the wider public of life in the domestic wool textile industry in the valleys of West Yorkshire. Management and development of Pool in Wharfedale Memorial Hall for the benifit of inhabitants of Pool in Wharfedale and surrounding areas

As a Christian charity we aim to spread the gospel and to help those in need according to God's word. We want to outreach to children & the elderly we also aim to minister to people in prison. We want to provide people with spiritual care & guidance but we also help in practical and financial ways if we can.
