TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT OF LEEDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF CHURCH MEETINGS, LECTURES AND SEMINARS AND ALSO THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY AND TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT OF LEEDS.

To provide activities for the members of the Scout group

Grant making focussed on Yorkshire area and smaller charities and voluntary organisations operating locally or with local connections.

To relieve the suffering of stray and abandoned animals by providing a secure and safe environment until a new loving home can be found.

Provide financial support to families and their children up to the age of 18 suffering from a brain tumour or any type of childhood cancer attending Ward 6 at Sheffield Childrens Hospital. We raise money by doing fund-raising activities in the UK. We support all attendees of Ward 6 who request funding regardless of their home address.

OUR CHARITY IS FUNCTION IS TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY,ELDERLY THE SICK,YOUTH,WOMAN,DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND ETHNIC MINORITY.WE PROVIDE SPIRITUAL EDUCATION PHYSICAL MORAL AND CANCELLING TO THOSE WHO ARE VENERABLE.REACHING OUT TO THE LOST AND BRINGING THEM TO GOD.WE ARE CHRISTIAN WE PRACTICE THE INSTRUCTION OF THE GOD WORD.

To provide social events for the wider school community and raise funds to provide resources which will enhance the children's education.

To act as a centre for the teaching Buddhism (Theravada) as well as Meditation and Mindfulness. The charity works to enhance the psychological and social well being of community groups in the North of England and encourage fostering of harmony and cohesion among them. The charity also engages in organising Buddhist cultural events.

The Charity?s objects are for the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of cats and kittens in need of care and attention, and in particular to provide and maintain foster spaces or other facilities, for the care and treatment of such cats and kittens until such a time that they can be found safe, secure and loving permanent homes.

The objectives of the Society are to stimulate public understanding of the sciences, including natural, physical, social and archaeological sciences, through lectures, grants, sponsorship and educational activities. The Society runs an annual series of around 20 public lectures, and maintains an interest in the Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, York, which it originally founded in the 1820s.

The charity provides a permanent building comprising a main hall, adjacent smaller meeting rooms, kitchen facilities an for older people to gather for social, recreational and culinary purposes. Access is open to all on a day to day basis.The building also has offices.

The charity promotes, for the public benefit, the preservation, care and improvement of the Farsley Rehoboth Burial Ground as a place of historic and ecological interest, and advances the education of the public through its preservation and maintenance.

The purpose of the Trust is the advancement of learning and knowledge by the study of the nature of peace and the methods by which peace can be developed. It does this by the financing of research, teaching and enabling the study of peace studies at the Department of Peace Studies at the University of Bradford

The objects of the charity are to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts and to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the committee shall from time to time determine. The charity achieves these objects by public performances in various forms by its volunteer members.

Scout Group with the following: Beaver Colony, Cub Pack, Scouts. Usual activities e.g. regular meetings, camps, outdoor activities.

To provide facilities/coaching and equipment so physically disabled people can play wheelchair basketball. The ages start from 6 yrs to 50+. Levels are beginners/recreational and competition (national league and international)The club raises awareness of disability through sport in and around the local community.

We raise money for resources, activities and capital items for children that attend Clapgate Primary School and the surrounding community of Belle Isle.

The promotion of bridge and the provision of facilities for the learning, teaching and playing of bridge.

U3A Leeds is devoted to lifelong learning, providing opportunities for those in the Leeds area no longer in full time employment to share skills and interests by learning together.We hold fortnightly general meetings, usually with a speaker, and have special interest groups where members can share their knowledge, skills, and experiences.
