Grants are made entirely at the discretion of the trustees. We do not make grants for computer equipment, education, overseas travel or individual holidays.

The Charity?s objects are for the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of cats and kittens in need of care and attention, and in particular to provide and maintain foster spaces or other facilities, for the care and treatment of such cats and kittens until such a time that they can be found safe, secure and loving permanent homes.

The objectives of the Society are to stimulate public understanding of the sciences, including natural, physical, social and archaeological sciences, through lectures, grants, sponsorship and educational activities. The Society runs an annual series of around 20 public lectures, and maintains an interest in the Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, York, which it originally founded in the 1820s.

Each week, the 19th North Leeds Scout Group give young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while gaining skills.

2.2 billion people worldwide have a vision impairment, half of which could have been prevented or treated. New Sight has a vision for a world where no one is needlessly blind. Since 2012, New Sight has established the two non-profit eye surgical centres in the Republic of Congo. It is building a comprehensive eye teaching hospital. It also runs a strong school and community outreach program.

The provision of essential items, such as food, drink, clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, accessories & toiletries; through city centres outreaches, direct to shelters and hostels and parcels to those newly housed and living in financial hardship.Providing support and sign posting to housing options, as well as other appropriate advice and educational support.

The Community seeks to relieve poverty by providing practical help to the poor and destitute in the form of food, clothing emergency financial assistance for utilities as well as providing support through home and nursing home visits.The Community serve the poor and wider public through prayer and spiritual instruction and encouragement, including monthly prayer groups and retreats.

Seedlings Foundation supports the provision of education and care for any child aged 0 to 19 years of age by means of a small grant scheme
