Farnley Community Centre provides a welcoming space for local people of all ages. We host activities including a seniors luncheon club, childrens services, a community cafe, social events, and support programmes. The centre promotes community spirit, reduces isolation, improves wellbeing, and supports those most in need in an area of deprivation.

The Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods aim to protect, enhance and conserve Gledhow Valley Woods. We want to make the woods the best they can be for wildlife with good access for all the users of the woods. We hold monthly action mornings to carry out tasks such as building and maintaining footpaths, wild flower meadow management, bulb planting and litter picking.

Scout Headquarters Management Association

We set this charity up as a group of 18 students aiming to raise the funds needed to go out to Sri Lanka to help disadvantaged communities and people in need out there. Before the expedition we will be focussing on raising the money needed for the running of the charity and the aim of the charity to get out to Sri Lanka.
