Garforth & District Lions club operate in town of Garforth and surrounding villages. We raise funds at an annual Gala, Beer Festival and on a Christmas street collection. The funds are used in our district to help the elderly, youth groups and those in need in the area. We also donate towards international projects through Lions clubs International Foundation.

The object of the Charity is to support and further all or any charitable purposes carried out in connection with that part of the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Diocese of Wakefield which relates to social and moral welfare.

Salamander aims to protect, promote and enhance the health and rights of people particularly, but not exclusively, marginalised by societies worldwide as a result of their gender, HIV status or sexual and reproductive health. We conduct: global advocacy work; related research; and we coordinate the global Community of Practice of users of the Stepping Stones training programme on gender and HIV.

Our mission is to help young people make positive choices in their lives by improving their health, social wellbeing and employability. Leeds Male Voice Choir's key objectives are to advance public education and the understanding and appreciation of the arts and science of men's choral singing, through a series of annual concerts, events and public performances.

The Tilehouse Trust aims to help charities and projects within Yorkshire which work to provide an experience of welcome to refugees and people seeking asylum in this country, and which give them support, whether material, creative or emotional, in living and flourishing here.

CARE OF AND RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND RE - HOME OF ABANDONED, NEGLECTED OR ABUSED GUINEA PIGS. GIVE SANCTUARY FOR THOSE DEEMED UNSUITABLE FOR REHOME DUE TO AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY. PROMOTE IMPROVED CARE AND WELFARE OF SMALL ANIMALS VIA EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. MWCA provides groups and activities to the community of Moortown West and surrounding areas. We also do events for all the community enhancing community cohesion. We also help improve our local community environment with support from our local council.

The Trustees have determined that their priorities for funding; The Dennis Mason-Jones Award, The Bedford Scholarship and Academic Awards (tertiary & secondary education). There remain funds available for grants and support to be dispersed as the Society sees fit and subject to satisfying the objects of the society in the areas of Social and Education support of Architectural and urban design.

LEEDS BAROQUE PERFORMS MUSIC OF THE BAROQUE ERA USING PERIOD INSTRUMENTS AND HISTORICAL PERFORMING PRACTICES. IT SEEKS TO BALANCE ITS PROGRAMMING BETWEEN WELL KNOWN WORKS (ESPECIALLY THE WORKS OF PURCELL, HANDEL AND BACH) AND THOSE THAT ARE RARELY PERFORMED, OR NEWLY EDITED BY LEADING SCHOLARS OR BY RESEARCH STUDENTS.
