It organises classes, courses, and gatherings focused on enhancing religious understanding, personal development, and community service. Salamander aims to protect, promote and enhance the health and rights of people particularly, but not exclusively, marginalised by societies worldwide as a result of their gender, HIV status or sexual and reproductive health. We conduct: global advocacy work; related research; and we coordinate the global Community of Practice of users of the Stepping Stones training programme on gender and HIV.

We provide a forum for Charities in Pudsey to meet and discuss. We look after the operation of Pudsey House in the Market Place, Pudsey, which has a number of meeting rooms available for use by community based organisations for fund raising or activity e.g. Disabled Club meetings, Retired Mens Forum, Art Classes and Scrabble Club.

We have organised community Picnic in July 2015, attended by about 50 patrons and included a fun day out in Yorkshire Dales. We also have organised the yearly interfaith religious and cultural celebration of Durgapuja and Diwali--which went on for more than 7 days in total. We are organising a Picnic again this year on the 9th of july.

IHOMSA provides a less formal link between home and school. Much of our effort is focused upon sociable, fund-raising activities such as Summer/Christmas Family Nights, Discos and Coffee Mornings. This additional revenue is put to good use throughout the school, mainly purchasing extra-curricular resources.

The object of the CIO is the advancement of education, for the public benefit, by the provision of schools, teaching, sponsorship and vocational training for the development of the mental, physical and moral capabilities in India. We have set up partnerships with charities operating in Rajasthan providing education and apprenticeships. Our main UK activity is fundraising and applying for grants.

The Community Unity (Leeds) CIO current activities are delivering hampers and toys at Christmas, running community family parties (Halloween and Christmas) and providing weekly meals and support to vulnerable local people.

Menston Area Nature Trust (MANT) is a charity aimed at creating, enhancing and protecting habitats for nature in and around Menston. MANT's immediate aim is to create a network of wildlife spaces in Menston through encouraging and developing nature friendly gardens and outdoor areas. Longer term the charity would like to create community nature reserves.

Our focus is promoting healthy recreational activities through the sport of rowing. We operate the Leeds Boathouse to encourage and enable the Leeds community to participate in rowing, from beginners to elite athletes. We work with Leeds Rowing Club, Leeds University Boat Club and British rowing to facilitate these opportunities.

The charity aims to support individuals in the UK who feel socially excluded to reintegrate into the local community, relieve poverty, and provide assistance to those in need, including counselling services and emotional support to improve wellbeing and inclusion.
