The objectives of the charity are to promote knowledge and appreciation of music, particularly the establishment and maintenance of a community string orchestra, which will provide an opportunity for structured group learning of instrumental performance by late (adult) starters and encourage participation by them in all aspects of music.

Baltica is a multicultural community run by members from the Baltics, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Its most important activity is the School of Russian Language and Art, a member of NRCSE. The school aims to develop childrens first language skills and engage them in positive learning. In addition, Baltica is actively involved in establishing cultural links with the local communities.

Outside The Box develop participatory and well-being activities with, by and for people in West Yorkshire, particularly for young people with learning differences and/or neuro-diversities such as autism.

The CIO Run out of and manage the Belle Isle Welcome Centre, Undercroft, Saint John and Saint Barnabas Church, Belle Isle Road, Leeds, LS10 3DNThe Centre will be used to run Community Cafe, Food Bank facilities, as a training venue and facilitategroups and club, along with other agreed activities that would benefit the community as required.

The provision of free accommodation and limited financial support, for a limited period, for destitute adult females seeking asylum in the UK or who are actively pursuing an Appeal to the Immigration Tribunal or Courts, irrespective of race,colour,ethnicity, relegious beliefs or sexual orientation.

CARE OF AND RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND RE - HOME OF ABANDONED, NEGLECTED OR ABUSED GUINEA PIGS. GIVE SANCTUARY FOR THOSE DEEMED UNSUITABLE FOR REHOME DUE TO AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY. PROMOTE IMPROVED CARE AND WELFARE OF SMALL ANIMALS VIA EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PROVIDE FREE ADVICE AND INFORMATION FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY HOLDING AND ATTENDING PUBLIC EVENTS TO IMPROVE ANIMAL WELFARE.

Providing the community with several Almshouses for use by the elderly people living in the old borough of Pudsey.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT MNYAKANYA HIGH SCHOOL AND OTHER SCHOOLS/INSTITUTES OF EDUCATION IN THE NKANDLA REGION OF KWAZULU NATAL AND AT ST MARY'S MENSTON SCHOOL AND OTHER SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES WITHIN WEST YORKSHIRE, BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF OPPORTUNITIES, RESOURCES AND FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOLS.

Raising necessary funds to enhance our school and community for children by sponsorship and events.

Holding of various events to raise funds to help needy children, locally at home, and abroad.

To further the religious work of Leeds Minster by supporting and upholding its choral tradition and maintaining its organ; and to promote the musical education of the general public by the performance of church music and the presentation of choral and instrumental concerts.

The Trustees have determined that their priorities for funding; The Dennis Mason-Jones Award, The Bedford Scholarship and Academic Awards (tertiary & secondary education). There remain funds available for grants and support to be dispersed as the Society sees fit and subject to satisfying the objects of the society in the areas of Social and Education support of Architectural and urban design.

LEEDS BAROQUE PERFORMS MUSIC OF THE BAROQUE ERA USING PERIOD INSTRUMENTS AND HISTORICAL PERFORMING PRACTICES. IT SEEKS TO BALANCE ITS PROGRAMMING BETWEEN WELL KNOWN WORKS (ESPECIALLY THE WORKS OF PURCELL, HANDEL AND BACH) AND THOSE THAT ARE RARELY PERFORMED, OR NEWLY EDITED BY LEADING SCHOLARS OR BY RESEARCH STUDENTS.

Our activities are linked to our charitable purpose of alleviating poverty and unemployment through focusing on three key areas of need;1) Training in relevant employment and job search skills 2) Training in enterprise development skills 3) Personal coaching and mentoring on areas that enable people to live fulfilled and healthy lives. a4) Other community support activities

The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The main purpose of our executive committee's work is to maintain funds to provide an HQ for scouting activities which benefit young people from age 6 to 25. Scouting activities offer young people opportunities for education, training sports & recreation. We also provide equipment to enhance these skills. Our HQ is situated in Rothwell & is also used by many other local groups.
