Provide a sports field for the village

Promotes the study of foreign languages by young people resident within a 5 mile radius of Dewsbury Town Hall. Grants are awarded to enable young persons to travel abroad, to attend courses at educational establishments in the UK or abroad and to assist young persons with any other proposals which promote the study of foreign languages.

Dream CIO provides a weekly meeting point for adults living with disabilities/impairments . It offers art/craft sessions, meals/trips a community cafe & speakers/ community involvement. It has an accessible community garden . It passes on information to the beneficiaries about disability related issues.

Fundraising to offer additional teaching resources for teachers at Westerton School

Provide small donations (--ú200) to smaller charities in the North of England and sometimes further afield world wide disasters. The RNLI and Action Medical Research receive larger donations in excess of --ú1,000.

Advance religion in accordance with the doctrines of the Church of England by providing short religious education courses, so that those attending might review their Christian commitment and practice Christian principles in everyday life, thus helping others to discover and achieve a Christian way of life. Providing ongoing support to members and encouraging them to be active in their parishes.

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by developing relationships between staff, parents, engaging in activities or equipment which supports the school.

Friends of Myrtle Park Primary School are an organisation who aim to raise funds for the children of the school, through a variety of fundraising events both in school and in our wider community. Events held in the last 12 months include a huge Christmas raffle, non-uniform days and our Jubilee Party.

Relief of sickness & distress for kidney patients - especially those receiving/having received treatment for kidney disease at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - includes support provision, advice & information to families/carers of such patientsEducating the public concerning kidney diseases & their treatments- particularly promoting donation of organs for transplantationPromoting research

To uphold the tenet of the Christian faith as exemplified in the life and teaching of Christ. Supporting the less privileged, disadvantaged and marginalised in society and supporting orphans and children's education in DR Congo.

Lighthouse school PTA organises fundraising and related social activities in order to build relationships between families and school and to raise funds so that resources can be bought that will directly benefit and support the students in their education at school.

The education and training of young people

THE PROMOTION AND DELIVERY OF COMMUNITY CLASSES AND COURSES IN THE LEEDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS USING QUALIFIED TEACHERS OF LISHI QUANFA (CHINESE EXERCISE SYSTEM). SEEKING GRANTS AND FUNDS TO SUPPLEMENT DONATIONS RECEIVED FROM PARTICIPANTS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A SAFE, QUALITY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR EFFECTIVE PRACTICE.

We fundraise for our school. We have 3 big annual events, A Christmas fayre, A Summer Fayre and a Sponsored Event. We also run various other fundraising events in a year e.g. Pamper Nights, Race Nights and Discos. We supply refreshments for various school events as well as providing water bottles every year to the pupils and Leavers Gifts to Y6.

To promote the appreciation of Brass Band and similar music at the Bandstand in Wetherby.Further, to encourage the training of young musicians in playing instruments used by such bands in the area of Wetherby and surrounding disticts.
