THE PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND HARDSHIP AND IN PARTICULAR THE RELIEF OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND THE VULNERABLE. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE PAYMENT OF DONATIONS TO THOSE CONSIDERED WORTHY.

FOSH plays a vital part in our school community, organising activities and raising funds to support theschool and advance the education of all our children. Events include - A Christmas, Easter and Summer Fayre, school disco's and sales to raise funds for the school. Every child in the school benefits from all the funds raised.

The prevention or relief of poverty of the people in Malawi by:1) The provision of grants and bursaries;2) The funding of the activities of the Malama Feeding Centre in Thyolo;3) The collection, dispatch and distribution of education, medical and relief goods throughout Malawi;4) To improve the conditions of life and/or promote the education of the people of Malawi.

Provision of a hall for use by the community and provision of snooker facilities for members.

We regularly fund raise for the upkeep, repair and improvement of facilities in the building and surrounding land. We are the main social centre for the residents of Timble village. Our fund raising efforts include annual events (bonfire parties, quiz nights, theatre productions etc). Monthly coffee mornings are also held. All members of our surrounding rural community support these events.

WE HAVE PROVIDED GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST THEM WITH EXPENSES WHILE THEY TRAIN TOWARDS ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD

Encourage and assist the youth of Bramhope to meet their full potential

We have now hosted two successful Christmas Time "Music on the Station" Events. Each event being used to collect monies for the CandleLighters Charity.In addition we have also enhanced the appearance of Ilkley Rail Station by providing Five Containers which have been planted up by five local schools.

Talbot PTA organizes events within school which have the dual function of raising funds and bringing parents, pupils and staff together outside the usual curricular setting. The funds are directed by the trustees to purchasing additional equipment for the Talbot Primary School for which it has no budget or other funding.

1) Financial support to Leeds freemasons and their dependents in time of need.2) Financial support to worthy causes in the Leeds area.

We raise money for resources, activities and capital items for children that attend Clapgate Primary School and the surrounding community of Belle Isle.

We raise funds to support the development of Key Stage 1 & 2 children attending St Josephs School in Otley

Small charity run by volunteers catering for adults and children with a wide range of both physical and mental disabilities within the Bradford/Leeds area.Clients come on a regular basis as individuals or part of a group from a specialist centre. All are taught by a qualified instructor.Benefits to clients include improved physical skills, self confidence and feeling of independence.

General charitable purposes.

Raising money for the benefit of all children at Aberford C of E Primary School

To support local charities in West Yorkshire including support for schools. Support for international charities with Rotary GB and I.

Looking after several pieces of open land in the Armley area of Leeds. This is achieved by maintaining the land and promoting its use by the local population. To keep the land free from use by developers. We also actively encourage local community organisations to use these sites for recreational uses. We also encourage local people to volunteer in the upkeep of the land,

Provide additional resources i.e Extended School Services and specific resources for pupil enrichment (School & Hospital)

To protect rural areas of West Yorkshire from inappropriate development.

Our charity has 2 objectives, one to raise funds which contribute towards the purchase of equipment, services and events that the school might not be able to afford and which enrich the children's educational life. And secondly to promote a positive and active school community.

To raise money for the benefit of the poor and needy within the Club's territorial area,the charitable purposes of Rotary Foundation and the benefit of other charitable organisations etc.as deemed appropriate.

To promote beekeeping through education and training for the benefit of the environment and mankind because of the important role of bees in the production of food. Children/young people, people with disabilities and special needs and other charities/voluntary bodies are also beneficiaries.

We run fundraising events for parents and friends of our children's primary school. We raise money to buy extras for our school which are not provided by the budget.

Working primarily with abandoned babies, street children & very poor families in Mexico City.
