OARFDC has been a registered Charity since July 2006 (Registration Number 1115456). We work to benefit and educate African Refugees, Asylum Seekers and their families mainly from Central Africa. We are the only Refugee Groups in Oxford that address social welfare of refugees through Sports. We are affiliated to Football Association, We support refugees, Asylum seeker to break in sports industry.

The main activities of the fund is used for charity events.

School PTFA group - raising money to enhance the schools curriculum (eg. providing funds for PE equipment, whiteboards, camera's, musical instruments). Also providing funds for outside school activities (eg. clown shows, Easter trail).

Headingley Orphanage Foundation is empowered `to make grants to organizations with charitable objects serving the benefit of needy children and young persons up to the age of 21 years, and more particularly those within the geographical area known as Yorkshire, as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.`

TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT AMONG VICTIMS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, TROUBLE OR CATASTROPHE IN THE FORM OF MONEY OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE FOR PERSONS, BODIES, ORGANISATIONS OR COUNTRIES AFFECTED WORLDWIDE.

The principle activity of the Association is the management of the Sheep Dog Trials held each year

Leigh Network supports families across the UK affected by mitochondrial disease both with an online presence where families can share information and in person. We hold annual meet ups which include family fun days out, sometimes including a doctor specialising in the condition. We also support research and raise awareness. We hold monthly zoom calls to ease the isolation.

Our work is centred on bringing people together through their faiths and beliefs to share our commonalities and to respect the differences. It is an annual membership organisation open to faith groups who agree with the aims and aspirations of our constitution.The forum works in partnership with various voluntary, community and faith sector organisations and with Leeds City Council.

We exist to provide resources and activites to enhance the learning experience for pupils attending the Rodillian Academy.

Read for Life exists to break the generational cycle of low literacy in South Leeds. We provide free, one-to-one reading support for adults through trained volunteer reading coaches and work with community organisations to reach those most in need. Improved literacy increases confidence, employment opportunities and family wellbeing.

To manage and maintain a five-and-a-half acre site of natural and planted woodland, in an inner-city area of Leeds, for the enjoyment and edification of the local community.

ICRAA is a UK-based non-profit charitable organisation seeks to aid repatriation and recovery programmes in Afghanistan and for Afghan refugees in Pakistan, such as health, education, agriculture, animal welfare and as well as disaster relief. All of these programmes are to be delivered free of charge to the communities with which we work.

Support for James Ogoo Nursery School in Bundung, Serrekunda in The Gambia. Help for three family compounds in The Gambia. Sponsorship for four children at other schools.

We hold events for children and pensioners e.g Christmas and Halloween parties. Also trips are organised at various times of the year. It is our intention to hold kids clubs in the near future.

THE GARRY CHAPPELOW MEMORIAL FUND DONATES FUNDING, FOR NEW PLAYING KIT AND SPORT EQUIPMENT, TO UNDER 16 YEAR OLDS SPORTS TEAMS, SPORTS CLUBS AND INDIVIDUALS.THE FUND HAVE DONATED TO LOCAL, IN THE LEEDS POSTAL AREA, TEAMS AND CLUBS OVER ?200,000 SINCE IT WAS FORMED IN FEBRUARY 2002.THE OBJECT OF THE FUND IS TO 'KEEP KIDS OFF THE STREETS BY THEM TAKING PART IN SPORT'.
