The Leeds Astronomical Society provides talks, observing sessions and practical help for enthusiastic amateur astronomers, interested members of the public and groups of all ages. We also organise and participate in astronomy events.

PROVIDE FIRST AID TO GENERAL PUBLIC AT ORGANISED EVENTS.

Lewisham Park Youth Club provides activities for young people in the town of Morley. Age related activities are provided through club sessions which will help young people develop their physical, social, spiritual and moral capacities. The club works with the local community to improve the welfare of the neighbourhood and contribute to young people become good citizens and responsible adults.

Provision of:Peer to Peer support.Educational workshops and courses on managing mental health illness and rehabilitation.Advice and guidance on living with mental health illness.

The Charity is the Foundation Trust for the Brodetsky Primary School and has granted tenancy rights to the Leeds Jewish Free School and the Zone.In its capacity as the Foundation Trust for the Brodetsky Primary School, the charity received donations being land and buildings previously owned by Leeds City Council and the Scopus Jewish Educational Trust.

The object of the Trust is the advancement of the education of Guiseley School's students by:(a) developing more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;(b) engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of the students;(c) providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.

The Yorkshire Indian Society through its members organize large scale banquet dinners annually to raise funds to help allow the Charitable Trust to meet its objectives. This involves getting together local Yorkshire and Indian-based residents and support and sponsorship from businesses to help make the event highly successful. An attendance of over 500 people from various backgrounds is the norm.

The society is providing;Sikh religious worker/minister to the community for prayer meetings, lectures & religious festivals.Teaching services in Punjabi, Gurumukhi & skills of playing Tabla and Harmonium.

The Friends raise money to enhance provision of additional facilities for the students and school.

Fundraising activities in and around Barwick in Elmet Church of England Primary School, in order to provide grants, goods and services, to advance the education and create fun and lasting memories of children at the Barwick school.

The objectives of the charity is to fund charitable projects and donations for the general benefits of the inhabitants of Farsley, for which provision is not made out of rates, taxes or other public funds.

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL HELP TO WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE STAFF EMPLOYEES AND EX EMPLOYEES WHO ARE CONSIDERED, BY THE TRUSTEES, AS NEEDY.

To provide a community transport service for such of the inhabitants of Horsforth and the surrounding area who are in need of such a service because of youth, age, sickness or disability (mental or physical) or poverty or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

We aim to promote, sustain and increase access to education, knowledge and skills to those who without financial assistance may be denied access, and to increase social mobility by enabling future potential to be realised,through the provision of grants primarily but not exclusively in the inner north Leeds area. .

Religous services, including healing circles. All other income is used to cover rental fees and normal running expenses.Contributions to other charities have ceased, due to the present financial situation.

Working around the town of Pudsey we aim to promote and encourage for the public benefit in the community, the development & provision of safe routes, paths and facilities for cycling, walking and other forms of low energy transport and to undertake and carry out projects and activities of a charitable nature which will assist in promoting healthy recreation and the protection of the environment.

The provision and maintenance of premises to enable a group of Christians to meet and worship God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and to hold meetings to preach the Christian Gospel and teach Bible doctrines and practices as guided by The Holy Spirit of God.

ACTION work to support young children and families within Aireborough. It actively supports the development and early education of children and encourages parents and carers to have a better understanding of their children's needs and improve services that support better outcomes for all children and their families. ACTION work closely with local schools, community groups and organisations.

Through a range of services, we aim to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and foster a sense of community.
