The Yorkshire Saxophone Choir provides opportunities for advanced players of the saxophone to rehearse and perform challenging saxophone choir repertoire. It is also committed to helping young and inexperienced saxophonists to improve thier performance through workshops and joint performances.It is also dedicated to rasing puplic awareness of the diverse range of saxophone music.

Aims:to advance knowledge and understanding of the teachings and practices of the different faith communities in Leeds, and to nurture respect and friendly relations by facilitating interfaith dialogue and organising educational and cultural events;to promote justice, peace and social harmony by advocacy, by focused public events and projects, working with other groups

The Fund's main activity is to fund Learning Mentors in the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at St James's Hospital in Leeds. The role of the Learning Mentor is to assist patients to ensure that they can continue with their education whilst they are undergoing their treatment for cancer.

Maintainence of a local woodland through regular workdays, involving litter clearance, thinning, pruning & planting of trees, ditch & path creation & maintainence, etc. Committee meetings held monthly, attendance of events such as Great Yorkshire Show.

We orgainse fundraising and social events for the school community and the local community. We use income from our fundraising activity to further the education of the pupils of Austhorpe Primary School.

To relieve sickness and to promote and protect good health, to relieve poverty and advance education of street children and orphans around the world for the public benefit, to meet the needs of orphans and widows, a needy and vulnerable population, while developing an orphanage complex?s, including shelters, schools and a medical clinics on land owned by the Street Orphans Charity.

The charity activities include raffle sales, bake sales, Christmas card sales, all of which take place within school grounds. Annually the charity has a stall at a local fair, running tombola and cake sales.
