Friends of Evington manages two projects called Evington in Bloom and Evington Echo.Evington in Bloom, established 2012, brings people together through gardening. The Evington Echo (established 1981) is for the charity's bi-monthy magazine, website, calendar, training and events. We will bring people together for a community centre, in cooperation with the statutory authorities.

To promote transplantation by paying expenses to allow transplantees from the area covered by the Leicester General Hospital Transplant Unit and the Leicester Royal Bone Marrow unit to attend the British Transplant Games.

AIM: To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. METHOD: By providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the scout promise and law, guided by adult leadership.

We address the issues of isolation, lack of information, and loneliness experienced by migrants, refugees and their families, with particular emphasis on those facing health and immigration issues. We seeks to strengthen community relations by uniting individuals and offering key information, guidance, and training.

Leicester Community Concert Band (LCCB) was established in 2007 and is now one of the largest amateur wind ensembles in Leicestershire. The band performs a varied repertoire, with something to suit everyone's taste, and strives to provide a friendly and supportive environment within which all musicians can progress at their own rate.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide raise and funds for the Etalwa Ettihadul Islamic School in India.

The principal objective of the Charity is to benefit sick poor persons who are resident in the city of Leicester.

We provide a safe and pleasant environment for young people in Evington and the surrounding area to be involved in a wide range of sporting and health promoting activities and opportunities.

Herrick Playgroup provides affordable childcare in the form of a playgroup for under 5s and we also have wraparound care for nursery age children. We also run a playscheme for 4 weeks in summer and a Breakfast and After School Club for 4-11 year olds of Herrick Primary School, on whose grounds we operate from a purpose built mobile.

Provision of scouting activities for young people between the ages of 6 and 15

THE MANDAL WAS ESTABLISHED BY A CONSTITUTION FORMALLY ADOPTED IN 1972.THE AIMS ARE TO ADVANCE THE HINDU RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC;TO ACCOMMODATE AND ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SPORT,RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION TO INDIVIDUALS ;TO PROVIDE INFORMATION,TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR ALL INVOLVED BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS AND ENABLING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SOCIETY.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

1.The promotion of public education in and appreciation of music by the preparation and rehearsal for, and the presentation of, public concerts and by such other means as NCB shall from time to time determine. 2.The provision of such grants and donations for individuals or such charitable associations, bodies and organizations as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.

The objectives of the charity are:(1) advancing awareness of cancer in the local community in Leicester;(2) promoting and teaching the community how to identify signs and symptoms of cancer;

We support children and young people, primarily in Leicester and Leicestershire, in learning to play musical instruments and to sing and to take part in ensembles and concerts.

Fund raising for the school.

In pursuance of the choir's objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects, COLS presents three concerts each year together with other occasional musical activities.

The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.

Provide transport and other logistical support to the community, working with the emergency services, councils, meals on wheels and similar entities, using 4x4 equipped vehicles and drivers during time of inclement weather or civil emergency in the Leicestershire and Rutland area.

To relieve persons suffering from Leukaemia or any related blood disorder by promoting research and by contributing towards the cost of providing additional care and facilities not available under the National Health Service.

We have weekly rehearsals where through internal and external coaching we educate and develop members singing skills. Members are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills entertaining the public and in competition at the annual British Barbershop Competition

We are a community gospel choir affirming God's name and ministering to both members and the wider population through gospel music. We meet on Wednesday evenings (term time). We sing at various events arranged by ourselves or invited by other organisers.

To relieve the needs of children and young people who have a disability, their families, carers and friends residing in Nuneaton, Bedworth and the surrounding area by the provision of therapeutic play, and leisure time and recreational facilities and spaces

Self help group for life long learning for those no longer in full time employment.
