The charity's principal objectives during the period were the promotion of lifelong learning throughout the Diocese, effect being given to the belief that all true education must be based on Christian principles, and the promotion and stimulation of religious education according to the doctrines of the Church of England.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship through worship and mission. It does this through Worship, Learning and Caring, Service and Evangelism.

The charity's activities involve providing a temple for a place of worship. Other activities include provision of day care services for the elderly and infirm.

We are the official charity of Leicester Tigers, using the power and values of sport to change lives. Through our four pillars, Education, Health, Inclusion and Heritage, we deliver high-quality programmes that engage, inspire and educate, helping support young people to achieve their potential, promoting healthier lifestyles and championing inclusivity.

The Charity loans amounts up to £20,000 interest free for nine years to persons aged over 18 and under 45 setting up their own business within Leicester(shire) or Rutland, Loans for post-graduate education up to £10,000, interest free for nine years to persons aged over 18 and under 45, who have lived in Leicester(shire)/Rutland for at least 3 years.

The relief of poverty, sickness and distress of individuals in need, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of shelter, food, clothes and advice, in accordance with a Christian ethos.

On a weekly basis we go to Northampton General Hospital, BMI Three Shires- Northampton, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Kettering, Bedford, Luton & Dunstable, Nottingham City Hospital, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Stoke On Trent, Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust to provide free gifts & support to adult cancer patients in hospital.

Breaking Down Barriers is a charitable organisation working with communities in nationwide. The charity was established in 2016 to increase community participation in a wide variety of sports as a result of requests from the community.The charity focuses on empowering the community through sports, focusing on physical and mental health.

To ehance the development and education of children young people and their families by providing training,experiences and childcare through community groups and services.

To alleviate the effects of poverty and other disadvantages of children across the East Midlands through a range of programmes that provide support, experiences and opportunities.

The charity provides prayer facilities, educational classes, lectures, telephone support line and work shops for children and adults.

Providing support, care and friendship for the elderly and young persons through the provision of day facilities. These offer companionship for the socially isolated, craft clubs for people with disabilities, a befriending scheme, a free mobility aid loan scheme, access to wheelchair friendly woodland walks, bird hides and an outdoor classroom facility for youth organisations and school groups.

Autistic Nottingham is a charity run for and by Autistic adults without intellectual disabilities. We run an advocacy service to support those adults who need support to have their voice heard in a number of different settings. We also run social events for Autistic adults without intellectual disabilities, as well as a support service that are tailored to beneficiaries needs.

To relieve the suffering of animals & provide/maintain a rescue home for unwanted animals & provide treatment for sick & ill-treated animals. To provide a re-homing service for animals fit for re-homing with a neutering/spaying option if needed. No animal will be put down, unless on the advice of a veteniary surgeon.

The Laura Centre offers free bereavement counselling services for adults, families and young people. We provide holistic support to parents who's child has died and children and young people 5-25 years old who's parent or sibling has died. The centre also supports those in anticipatory grief. We provide one to one therapy, systemic family work, therapeutic and drop in groups and an advice line.

SoundLincs designs and delivers high quality, creative & innovative music-making opportunities which acknowledge the unique needs & individual circumstances of the diverse communities we work with primarily across the East Midlands - promoting inclusivity, tackling social exclusion, undertaking research, and reducing health inequalities in partnership with local, regional & national agencies.

Hubbub Theatre Company works with people with learning disabilities. We are based in Derby, We run a touring theatre company, an actor training and a community project including outreach in the community.

Education of children and adults in relation to safety issues in all aspects of everyday life through the operation of a safety education centre. Working with other bodies to improve the quality of life by: encouraging public involvement in the prevention and solution of crime; reduction of crime and anti social behaviour; and education, information and practical assistance on crime prevention.

We exist to provide a range of services to support local residents, including legal and welfare rights advice and advocacy, services for young people with special needs, daycare and activities programmes for the elderly, a local newsletter, an environmental project, education advice and advocacy, mobility trike hire, and signposting to nine partner organisations who use our facilities.

The charity delivers Health Promotion & Drug Resistence Education programmes to young people in East Midlands as a supplement to the school curriculum. It also delivers parenting programmes, running courses on behalf of Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council

It seeks to demonstrate the Christian faith in action by proclaiming the Gospel and meeting needs in the Leicester area.
