Charnwood U3A is a learning cooperative of retired and semi-retired people that enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities. No qualifications are required and none given. Over 85 study and activity gorups enable members to share their skills and interests to the benefit of one another. New interest gorups are formed according to demand.

Organise Tuition classes for youngsters in many study areas. Provide our building to the community for wedding celebration and special gathering.Organise sport events to help the community mix and integrate with each others.Invite Scholars and people of knowledge to give lecture and speech in areas important to the community.General Charity activities

Based in the East Midlands we aim to promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for cats which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among cats.

To help young people enjoy new adventures, to experience the outdoors, interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

PET REFUGE AND CARE

The Church holds two services on a Sunday, as well as additional meetings to teach the Christian faith and to provide opportunities for worship. In addition, the Church holds activities for all ages, which combine worship, teaching, evangelism and outreach. The Church supports others doing the same across the region, the nation and the world.

Religious worship, the provision of space for community activities and support to the local community

The Charity mainly provides out of hours burial services for the Muslim communities of Leicestershire. The Charity is also a cunsultative body on issues relating to Muslim burial and bereavement.

Providing wheelchair rugby opportunities in the East and North East MidlandsLTWRC will look to develop and expand wheelchair rugby provision, awareness and participation within the regionsvia but not limited to: youth programs in schools, PR, events and in conjunction with GBWR Ltd and teams competing within the league.

To advance and encourage the study and performance of playing brass band instruments whilst educating the public in the appreciation of Brass Band music by the presentation of concerts and performances in this sphere of the musical arts. In addition, to support other charitable institutions by organising concerts with a view to raising funds for their cause.

Social, Educational and recreational activities for 10 to 26 year olds.

To advance education in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, particularly the art of film and allied visual techniques for the benefit of the community in the Market Harborough area.

The charity's objectives are for the public benefit generally but with particular reference to the inhabitants of Barwell and its surrounding areas 3.1 to promote the community participation in recreation by providing facilities for the playing of sports capable of improving fitness and health.
