The advancement of education in the arts in Burton upon Trent and District by the production of one or more dramatic stage plays or musicals each year.

As a modern Almshouse Charity we provide affordable housing in a rural area for local people who are in need. Our Residents are elderly people of limited means who are accepted as Almshouse Residents due to their circumstances and their inability to fund a home from their own resources.

We provide support for addicts who are struggling with alcohol dependancy or drug misuse.

TO PROVIDE SPACE FOR ALL VILLAGE ACTIVITIES

Medbourne Playgroup exists to provide pre-school education for children aged 3 to 5 in the Welland Valley area of Leicestershire/Northamptonshire.

Jigsaw works with young people on the Autistic Spectrum who would like to develop social and lifeskills. This is done in a variety of environments that are aimed to provide opportunities for lifelong learning. We run youth club sessions, trips out and residential experiences. We provide a comfortable environment where young people can be themselves without fear of isolation, judgement and abuse.

Support for new projects for the advancement of the Christian faith, primarily, but not exclusively, within Leicestershire and the surrounding area; and employing and remunerating such staff as are necessary for carrying out this work. To date, because of the effects of the pandemic there has been very little activity.

Religious activities, providing buildings/facilities/open space

The charity provides aid to former district nurses employed in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland whom through age, ill health, accident or infirmity are unable to maintain themselves, and also to provide relief to those persons resident in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland who are sick, convalesent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Scouting

To promote such charitable purposes for the benefit of young people living in Leicestershire and Rutland, in particular those undertaken by youth organisations.

The East Anglia Youth Rowing Programme introduces rowing to a wide range of students at state schools in East Anglia. Many may not have considered rowing as a sport for them. Our programs include indoor and on water training. We use qualified coaches for this and also train and coach school staff to make them self sufficient. Our actives range from taster sessions to 1 week long summer camps

The Churchward County Trust Ltd continues to actively raise awareness of its goal to re-create a Great Western Railway 'County' class 4-4-0 steam locomotive using a mixture of new and original components. We continue to promote membership of the charity and raise funds to achieve our charitable aims through membership, sales and appeals.

PROVIDER OF PRE-SCHOOL LEARNING AND PLAY FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 2 AND 5. WE ARE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF OUR VILLAGES' CHILDRENS LEARNING AND STIMULATION, AS WELL AS PREPARATION FOR THE CHILDREN STARTING THE LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS

To provide and manage a Community Centre offering social, recreational and eduacational activites to th people of Shepshed and district

County Bridge Club is based in Leicester and has be operating for 57 years a a contract bridge club. Membership is open to all and we provide a full teaching scheme subsidised by the club. Bridge is a mind sport recognised internationally and the benefits of the social and mental aspects of the game are well documented. Bridge is considered a amatur sport.

The charity carries out a wide range of activities in pursuance of its charitable aims. The trustees consider thatthese activities, summarised below, provide benefit both to those who worship at our Mosque and the widercommunity. The charity manages a boarding school for underpriviledged children in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The charity offers religious education to the underpriviledged children.

Fund raising for the maintenance and running of village hall, which is available for use of anyone in the village or local area.

Jesus the voice of hope runs two Sunday services, JVH East and JVH north. There is also Friday service in JVH Leicester. We have the following ministry:- House Group- Youth Ministry- Womens and men's ministry- Prayer GroupJVH support the work of Emmanuel Children Orphanage in India and regularly gives them financial support.

The charity provides opportunities for the general public to partake in amatuer sport and recreation activities within the village hall.
