Women Who Can (CIO) is a charity based in Leicester and Leicestershire that focuses on empowering young women. Our aim is to support young women in their personal and professional journeys by providing practical programmes, workshops, educational resources, and a community network. Our purpose is to instil knowledge and confidence in women and help them achieve their full potential in life.

The principal activities of the company in the year under review were those of organising community activities in the area of benefit. In particular, workimg with the voluntary and statutory organisations to promote and develope such activities involving the residents of the area, especially children, young people, elderly people and people with learning difficulties.

CommunityCentre & Library, serving multi-ethic community. Activities hub for Co-op Women Guild, Art & Over 70s clubs, dance, stage, tap, keep fit, Martial Arts classes. Popular venue for engagements, weddings, christenings, birthday parties. Largest operational stage in area used for and cinema shows, charity fund raising events, church services and other social events for the community.

Charitable work with Jain Religious charitable institution, Animal welfare,Disasters and natural calamity, locally and overseas

The provision of a well-maintained hall available for hire for use by individuals and organisations for social, sporting, cultural, public and/or other purposes which the management committee believe to be of benefit to the local community.

The prevention or relief of poverty in Shepshed and the surrounding area by providing regular food parcels to individuals and families in need.

Perform and educate and help fellow charities raise funds through choral music. The Choir performs music to a professional standard promoting its own concerts and fulfilling engagements at the request of others.

Old Dalby School PTA is a group of parents and staff volunteers. This group raises money for Old Dalby School by running a busy and varied programme of events throughout the school year.

Various events for the children, families and friends of Greenfield Primary School, such as Summer and Christmas Fayres, school discos, a leavers barbque every July. Funds raised by the events are donated to the school to fund specific items.

WE AIM TO ATTRACT ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO SING A MIXTURE OF MUSIC FROM TYPICAL CHORAL MUSIC TO MODERN WORKS.THE RUTLAND CHORAL SOCIETY ALSO WISH TO REACH THE WIDER COMMUNITY BY ATTRACTING YOUNGER SINGERS AND PERFORMING IN SMALLER LOCAL VENUES.WE ARE A NON-AUDITIONING CHOIR.

Enderby Lawn Tennis Club encourages people to participate in the healthy sport of tennis. The club operates and maintains three floodlit savannah tennis courts for the benefit of the people of Enderby and the surrounding district.

Provides and maintains a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Whissendine for use for meetings, classes, recreation and leisure activities.
