It helps to fund capital equipment for the various college departments, supports college sports teams and individuals competing in national competitions, and responds to requests from individual students for support in their extra-curricular activities.

General scouting activities.

Provision of a free to enter Museum Gallery which showcases the military and social history of The Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire's Cavalry from 1689 to the present day.Provision for family research and an on site educational research facility.Preservation and conservation of artefacts and archival material.

Provides support to local groups and manages the use of recreation ground and childrens play areas. Provides sports pavilion and hall for village use. Susidises village paper to all homes within the village

The Travers Foundation is a volunteer-run Charity that provides financial support to local 13 to 30-year-olds to help them realise their dreams in sports, music and the arts. We help by nurturing the talent of local teams, groups and individuals in Rutland, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire.

Fundraising for the support of charitable activities and the personal involvement in those activities

The property and trust fund have been established for the purposes of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race, political, religious or other opinions.

Community meetings, events and classes are held throughout the year. The hall is used for regular meetings for the Croxton Kerrial Church, Croxton Kerrial and Branston Parish Council and other Community groups within the village.

The Charity continued its support of the Bursary scheme at Coventry University, specifically supporting candidates taking degree courses in Engineering and related subjects. The Charity also continued it's policy of considering other appropriate causes primarily in the Coventry, Warwickshire and Midlands region.

The Band teaches members' from the age of nine years to read music, play musical instruments, to march, and then support other Charities to raise funds the length and breadth of this Country by taking part in Carnivals, and Fetes etc., from May through to September of each year.

Competing in contests organised by the British Association of Barbershop Singers.4. Entering Music Festivals and Eisteddfods in the UK and abroad5. The Charity's fundraising activities focus on Summer Fetes and hosting of other family events.

The Charity is a mixed chamber choir. Five to six choral concerts are performed annually. Every year the Charity makes grants to deserving young candidates following acceptance into the Choir as choral scholars.

Religious/cultural celebrations, religious rhymes gathering. Provision of meals to disabled/elderly/vulnerable as & when required.

Providing horse riding lessons for disabled children and adults.

Provides recreational facilities for indoor and outdoor activities for young people of both sexes mainly between the ages of 10 and 18. We also offer help and councelling for young people as well as access to other agencies that support this age group.

The presentation of stage performances of the operas of Gilbert and Sullivan and other musical acivities to educate the public in the arts and sciences.
