Sproxton Village Hall provides a meeting place for the local community; used for education, arts, religious & social events, in addition to private parties. Used by all sections of the community.

Supports Old Mill Primary School in fund raising activities, events, etc.

Our organisation works closely with the school to provide access to extra activities that could not be financed otherwise. Extra activities organised for the pupils include visit to museums, aquariums, theatre plays. This is happening by organising transportation, paying for lunches which lower the overall cost so that every child can access the same level of education, whatever their background.

Quorn Town Lands is a long established charity whose aim is to assist the residents of Quorn.The charity also wishes wherever possible to assist organisations and clubs within the village, the only stipulation being that the majority of the members are resident of the village. This condition is required to enable the Trustees to comply with the terms of the Trust Deed.

The village hall is available for the use of all village residents and to people outside the village. Currently it is let on a regular basis for dancing classes, yoga classes, WI meets. We also organise entertainment such as music, theatre and other items of interest. The facility is available 7 days per week.

Providing scouting activities & headquarters premises etc. for Beaver Scouts age 6/7 years, Cub Scouts age 8 to 10 1/2 years, Scouts age 10 1/2 years to 14 years & Explorer Scouts age 14 to 18 years. The Scout Group is run according to the aims and objectives of the Scout Association and within the general guidelines of the Scouting movement.

We are a small charity based in the East Midlands and our mission is to help young people aged between 18-30 years and suffering from kidney disease. Through donations and fund raising events we will assist in funding recreational activities, days out, holidays and the purchasing of equipment to make their lives more bearable whilst raising awareness and the impact of kidney disease
