Wenlo RDA is based at Normanton-on-Soar and offers disabled children and adults the opportunity to ride and look after horses to help their health, confidence and self-esteem.

Ashby Parva Village Hall serves as a central hub for the residents of Ashby Parva but is also widely used by people from all the surrounding towns and villages. There are regular activities and events for all ages, abilities and interests. We pride ourselves on running events which are inclusive for all and bring joy and fun to our local community.

We raise funds and provide practical help to preserve and conserve St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Thorpe End Melton Mowbray, for the public benefit, to enable them enjoy and appreciate the historic building as part of our heritage. We provide support to maintain, preserve and improve the fabric, furnishings and fittings of the historic church building and support the upkeep of its grounds.

We aim to raise funds for resources and enhancing the educational opportunities within Badgerbrook Primary School. Activities so far have included a circus, non-school uniform days, cake sales, raffles, discos, someone special pop-up shops, whole school challenges, pre-loved uniform sales, textile recycling and events with the local community. We also run free events to build a sense of community.

The charity pays the income of the trust fund for the benefit of the inhabitants of the County of Leicester. The charity awards grants to charitable institutions in accordance with the terms of the governing document. The trust manager reviews applications for grants when received and grants are awarded at the discretion of the trustee.

Disco's, therapy evenings, fashion show (organised by children), raffles/60/40.

The charity exists to educate the public in Scottish Country Dancing, by teaching dancing, holding dances and publishing books, records and other training materials, and by promoting dancing as part of our cultural heritage, as well as a healthy and enjoyable activity. Some dances are held for the general public, which raise funds for the charitable purposes of the Branch.

In order to achieve the objects of the charity, principally to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music [summarised], the choir rehearse a broad repertoire of choral music throughout the academic year culminating in performances given throughout the year at various venues in Leicester and Leicestershire.

The CIO's purpose is the advancement of religion for the benefit of the public by ensuring that Saint Mary's Catholic Church at Husbands Bosworth remains fully and properly maintained and insured to provide for its continuing use as a place for the regular celebration of divine worship according to the rites and ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church

Religious charity meeting Sunday afternoons and providing social activities i.e. snooker, theatre visits, outings, members' tea, new year annual dinner, slide shows and musical items on weekdays. Sunday meetings include religious and educational talks and musical items.

School disco's, Christmas and summer fair, Car boot sale, Sponsored walk, Halloween parties.

Earl Shilton In Blooms objectives are to promote horticulture and floriculture for the benefit of the public generally, and in particular those who live in or visit Earl Shilton by the provision of floral displays, shrubs and landscapes in places visible to the public.

Provision of lending library to residents of Rothley and surrounding area. Recreational activities such as computer support, under 5s, events, room hire etc.

Provision of accommodation and support for the homeless.

The purpose of the Charity is to make donations or grants to any individual, charitable society, institution or organisation within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nottingham, which includes Leicester and Market Harborough which are within the objects of St Vincent de Paul Society (England and Wales) charity number 1053992 i.e. the general benefit of poor persons and other charitable work.

Three or more performance concerts per annum. Weekly rehearsals in preparation. Three free singing workshops per annum held to promote health and social benefits of singing in a group.

Provision of library and community services in Stoney Stanton and surrounding areas.To use the Library building for the use of community groups.

THE ROLE OF THE FRIENDS IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH FABRIC. IN PARTICULAR THE REAR WALL IS IN URGENT NEED OF REPAIR.
