Provision of grants for religious education in the parish of Kibworth, Leics

Our volunteers, who are all members of local churches, patrol the town centre on Saturday nights from 10.30 pm until 3.30 am to care, listen and help anyone who is out in the town. We pick up bottles and give out flip flops and lollipops. We work in partnership with the police and local authority. We aim to provide a friendly face on the streets and to give assistance where we can.

Welfare for all ex RAF and RAF serving members

Anstey Town Charity exists to help Anstey based groups and sometimes individuals - often 6th form students. Applicants and grantees include children/youth groups, sports teams, voluntary groups, churches/chapels, playgroups, drama society and the village gala. We advertise for applicants by 31/1 and meet in March to allocate grants shortly afterwards.

To assist people and charities, for the public benefit, to promote education and relief of financial hardship.

Charity is for Queniborough residents who require financial help.

Villlage Hall

Research into local history of the village, resulting in an annual exhibition. Educational forum for local schools and other voluntary groups.Run educational events for the village related to local and national history.

The management of the Buckminster Village Hall including the hire of it to raise funds to maintain the building and cover the costs of running it.

Arranging fund raising events and activities; arranging educational and social events for staff, parents and pupils; purchasing educational, activity, communication and motivational resources to benefit pupils.

We distribute literature, audio, video tapes, DVD's, CD's and bi-monthly magazine at non-profitable basis to raise scientific awareness in Asian communities. We organise public functions led by mental & physical health professionals to raise awareness about mental & physical health issues. We take part in discussions on radio, TV and social media on issues like dowry system, female foetuscide etc.

Monthly meeting of female members which is addressed by a speaker . We have various speakers on many subjects including, Behind the scenes at Chelsea, Tai Chi, and musical activities

To promote the benefit of the people of Balanbal,Somalia and Leicester England by:(a) the advancement of eduacation and training;(b) the relief of poverty,sickness and distress;(c) the promotion of good health; and the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The trusts meets twice yearly, usually in May (also the AGM) and November and currently comprises six trustees including a chair person and a treasurer. Grants are awarded in accordance with the Trust deed to anyone under the age of 25 living in the Shepshed and Belton boundaries and are for education and the general promotion and encouragement of education

Provision of Table Tennis for the community. Sessions are advised on our web site. All abilities are catered for.

Provision of a play area, sports picthes, skate park, basketball court and recreation ground for the benefit of the residents of the Parish of Fleckney on land situated off Leicester Road, Fleckney, Leicestershire.

FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES FOR MASONIC AND NON-MASONIC CHARITIES

Provision of first respose service to medical emergencies under the direction of East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Provision of training for medical emergencies.

Provision of land and buildings from which two schools were operated. One of the schools, Manor House School, was under the direct control of the Foundation until 14 April 2014. Since the activities of Manor House School ceased, Ashby School is the sole school associated with the Foundation.

TO MANAGE THE MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE PARK AND PLAY EQUIPMENT AND A HARD SURFACED MULTI SPORTS COURT.

Kegworth Heritage Centre is a place for researching, recording and preserving Kegworth life, past present and future, as evidenced through artefacts, photographs, records and personal memories. As the village changes with time, the Heritage Centre will pass these on to others to provide a continuum, demonstrating how the intrinsic values of Kegworth life remain unchanged.

The income of the charity is applied to furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical parish of St Peters Belgrave in the Diocese of Leicester.
