Promote the social activities and well-being of young people

Offering practical help to those in need in Leicester & beyond. This help currently includes food, clothing, household items & personal support & training.

The relief of financial hardship amongst people in Leicestershire by: a) providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to people in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty b) such other means, including the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory service

The Circuit supports 15 churches by encouraging the churches to work together, by providing training for lay members and by providing youth workers. This support and leadership enables the following activities. Regular public acts of worship.The teaching of Christianity.Pastoral work.Promotion of the whole mission of the church.Supporting other charities financially and with prayer.

To promote the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Our Lord, the preaching and teaching of the Christian faith, and to support ministry at home and overseas. In addition, the charity seeks the relief of those in need, hardship and distress or who are aged or sick.

Food For All distributes around 6,000 free, nutritionally balanced meals to the homeless and disadvantaged on a daily basis. FFA targets the homeless, single parents, the elderly, the unemployed, people suffering from mental and physical disabilities and the marginalised. FFA is based on the philosophy of community self-help.

Care and education of children aged 2 to 11 years.

We provide advice, advocacy, support to all communities in Leicester to address issues related to racial inequality, discrimination and harassment.

Cultural programmes for the benefit of the Maher community;provision of education in particular Gujarati classses;sports venue football,basketball etc;hall hire facilities and regular religious functions for the old and the young.

The Charity provides children, young people and adults with the opportunity to play football in a supportive environment. The Club operates in West Bridgford, Nottingham and involves players from that location and surrounding areas. The Club also encourages the development of high quality playing, changing and social facilities.

FROM 1 JUNE 17, THE CHARITY MAKES, WITHIN A SPECIFIED AREA OF BENEFIT, CHARITABLE DONATIONS FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND DONATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST WITH FURTHER EDUCATION, AND TO RELIEVE NEED, HARDSHIP & DISTRESS. IT ALSO PROVIDES ALLOTMENTS AND FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF THE OLD GRAMMAR SCHOOL AND THE FABRIC OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF GREAT BOWDEN.

Love4Life specialises in supporting vulnerable girls aged 11-18 to develop their self-esteem and form positive and empowering relationships by delivering Love4Life groups, one-to-ones and workshops in secondary schools and in the community.All of our work embeds positive self-worth, body image and the handling of emotions in order to help a young person become more resilient.

THE CIRCUIT SUPERINTENDS THE WORK OF 17 METHODIST CHURCHES , TWO ARE LEPS: ONE IS SHARED WITH ANGLICANS, THE OTHER WITH BAPTISTS. ANOTHER OF OUR CHURCHES IS SIGNED UP TO AN AREA LEP WITH BOTH ANGLICAN AND URC CHURCHES. A FURTHER CHURCH HOSTS A MORAVIAN CONGREGATION. THE CIRCUIT COMPRISES CITY CENTRE, INNER CITY AREAS , OUTER SUBURBS, OUTLYING TOWNS, AND VILLAGES TO THE NORTH, SOUTH AND EAST.

The main activities are educational programmes, teacher training courses for the community and social activities for adults and children.

PROVIDING EDUCATION ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF RUDOLF STEINER FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN.

From our base in Leicester we operate a drop in facility for people exploited by or at risk of sexual exploitation. We carry out two out reach sessions in the City two nights a week and bi weekly out reach sessions during the day to the county. We provide access to City Council housing services, Drug and Alcohol workers, GUM and GP services.

INSTALLATION OF WATER PUMPS IN VILLAGES. PROVIDE VITAL FOOD AND CLOTHING TO THE NEEDY. ORPHAN SUPPORT. SUPPORTING WIDOWS. BUILD PLACES OF WORSHIP WHERE NEEDED. PROVIDE PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES FOR LOCALS AS A MEANS OF INCOME. MEDICAL AID. EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS. SUPPORT EDUCATION AND SHELTER IN VILLAGES IN THE DISTRICT OF 24 NORTH PARGANAS, WEST BENGAL, INDIA AND BUKEDI REGION EAST UGANDA

Various activities to promote and protect physical & mental health including:--Redistribute surplus food from the private sector to people in Warwickshire-Weekly health and wellbeing days for older and vulnerable people-Carry out Mini Health Checks -Plot to plate sessions, teaching people how to sow, grow cook and eat healthy food-Recruitment, training and support of volunteers

The charity provides resources to enable the effective running of 1st Nanpantan Scout Group at its headquarters in Nanpantan. The age range covered is from 6 to 14 years and the members follow the training of The Scout Association.

Homelessness in the UKThere are more than 300,000 people in Britain who are destitute, with no proper home, or the means of acquiring one.Emmaus Communities offer more than food and shelter and provides a lasting solution that restores self-esteem and confidence. Emmaus provides home and work for the formerly homeless.

We provide gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians. Meetings are held including bible readings & gospel preachings and details can be found on the website www.plymouthbrethrenchristianchurch.org. Gospel literature is readily available, street preachings are held regularly, food packs are provided to those in need. Free bibles are distributed.

The charity's principal objectives during the period were the promotion of lifelong learning throughout the Diocese, effect being given to the belief that all true education must be based on Christian principles, and the promotion and stimulation of religious education according to the doctrines of the Church of England.

The Trust aims to support charities and good causes locally to the two UK plants of Burnaston, Derbyshire and Deeside, North Wales.
