SCOUTING

The charity makes grants to persons under the age of 25 years for educational purposes. The applicant or their parents must be resident of the parish of Benington or Leverton near Boston Lincolnshire.

The Provision of open space, play equipment and sports facilities for the village and local area

Provide support to organisations (not individuals) for any general charitable need within a defined area surrounding the Power Station at Sutton Bridge Village

We as Trustees provide Farndon Village Memorial Hall for the benefit of the Community as a whole

THE HALL IS HIRED BY VARIOUS GROUPS INCLUDING PLAYSCHOOL, BOWLS CLUB, ,SLIMMING CLUB, BINGO, MODEL RAILWAY CLUB AND IS WELL SUPPORTED BY THE COMMUNITY. IT IS ALSO FOR HIRE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR PARTY CELEBRATIONS, MEETINGS, PRIVATE & PROMOTIONAL FUNCTIONS. BLOOD DONOR SESSIONS ARE HELD ON A REGULAR BASIS.

The Burgh Village Hall is used by the community for village activities ie indoor bowling, luncheon club, sports activities etc and the recreation centre is used for local bookings ie bingo, meetings etc

The rescue and rehabilitation of injured swans, cygnets and other animals, by providing a rescue, hospital and treatment facilities. To also further educate the public on how to reduce suffering to such animals.

Relief of poverty in Sutterton

To promote the social inclusion (particularly but not exclusively older men), within Long Sutton and the surrounding area, from becoming socially excluded. For those people we hope to assist them to integrate into society through the provision of facilities in which they can meet jointly or individually.To learn or pass on skills and knowledge and support each other.

CARE OF AND RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND RE - HOME OF ABANDONED, NEGLECTED OR ABUSED GUINEA PIGS. GIVE SANCTUARY FOR THOSE DEEMED UNSUITABLE FOR REHOME DUE TO AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY. PROMOTE IMPROVED CARE AND WELFARE OF SMALL ANIMALS VIA EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PROVIDE FREE ADVICE AND INFORMATION FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY HOLDING AND ATTENDING PUBLIC EVENTS TO IMPROVE ANIMAL WELFARE.

OPEN TO ALL WHO LOVE SINGING. WE AIM TO ATTRACT ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO SING A MIXTURE OF MUSIC FROM TYPICAL CHORAL MUSIC TO MODERN WORKS.THE RUTLAND CHORAL SOCIETY ALSO WISH TO REACH THE WIDER COMMUNITY BY ATTRACTING YOUNGER SINGERS AND PERFORMING IN SMALLER LOCAL VENUES.WE ARE A NON-AUDITIONING CHOIR.

Provides funding for young people under the age of 25yrs living in East Kirkby, Miningsby, Hagnaby, Hareby, and Old Bolingbroke to promote education (including physical and social ).

To afford assistance to needy brethren, their widows or immediate relatives by means of grants. Also to assist other local charities and worthy causes.To aid our members to subscribe to the funds of any registered charity but primarily to the Mark Benevolent Fund.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the residents of Leadenham and neighbouring villages.

The trustees are organising a shop to raise funds for nominated charities. They will undertake any activities considered necessary to support local charities.

CaSS is about making connections between church and school. It seeks to link together churches and schools in Sheffield and is interdenominational.CaSS recognises that schools are a vital part of our national life deserving the support of their local community. It has an interest in the well-being of the whole school community and encourages churches to be creatively involved with schools.

Practice and perform choral music for the enjoyment of members and the general public by means of public concerts in the Stamford area of Lincolnshire.

Salamanda Tandem works with a wide spectrum of people to create dance, music and visual artworks. The work covers 3 strands: Art & Performance, Participation, Training (focusing on disabled people, public sector professionals, artists). The company is artist led delivering research to develop new techniques within the world of contemporary art and sensory performance to enhance the life of others.

Hubberts Bridge Community Centre provides the facility for local groups to meet for many forms of sport and recreation. Also available to hire for weddings, parties, fund raising events etc. The committee are continually reinvesting to update and keep the centre one of the most sought after venues in the area.

The Mablethorpe community hall executive committee has the charge of operating the community hall to its best advantage for the residents of Mablethorpe and district. The aim is to promote healthy living through social and exercise activities.
