PROVISION OF THREE ALMSHOUSES AT CHALK LANE, WITHERN FOR ELDERLY PERSONS LIVING ALONE

Contribution to Chinese Overseas Christian Mission

Accomodation/housing for elderly persons in need.

Provide and maintain a meeting place in the village of New York for the use of residents in the village and surrounding area. Fund raising and social events are held and local clubs/societies and parish council use the hall for meetings etc.

Promotion of the benefits of the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and historic environment of Historic Lincoln through major redevelopments. Advancing the education and enjoyment of the public in the historic environment and artefacts of Historic Lincoln by the interpretation of historic sites, and public access to Heritage Skills Centre.

Running and support of Cowbit village hall

Raising of funds for Louth County Hospital.

To promote transplantation by paying expenses to allow transplantees from the area covered by the Leicester General Hospital Transplant Unit and the Leicester Royal Bone Marrow unit to attend the British Transplant Games.

Provision of four almshouses

General Hire for events and functions.

To establish and maintain a museum for the benefit of the public dedicated to preserving, promoting and displaying in perpetuity the collection of heritage buses, photographs, documents, artefacts and memorabilia of Delaine Buses Ltd of Bourne, Lincolnshire, one of England's oldest independent Bus Operators for the purpose of education, reference, research and general interest.

Half of the charity income goes to Methodist causes.Half of the charity income goes for the benefit of the citizens of the City of Lincoln.

This charity provides a building for the community of the parish of Middle Rasen, Lincolnshire., so that they can hold their various funtions.

Four homes to rent for the needy in the area.

Providing funding for individuals and organisations for the purposes of further/higher education.

The Charity provides sport and recreation for the residents of Mablethorpe and the surrounding area including football and athletics.

To provide recreational facilities for the village residents and visitors to hire for personal use and fundraising activities.

To establish and maintain for the benefit of the public a museum of RAF fire fighting. To advance education by establishing a museum which details the history of the RAF fire and rescue and to promote community fire safety. Also to advance education by displaying fire fighting memorabilia in and outside the museum to promote community fire safety. Also to Promote Education on fire safety.

Lions are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help others and support good causes throughout the British Isles. Globally we have more volunteers in more places than any other service club organisation, and love to help others and make things happen. Because we are local, we serve the unique needs of the communities in which we live.

TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS BIRDS PROMOTING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR BIRDS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO BIRD WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG BIRDS.

We provide space and facilities from young to old people for charitable and general purposes. We provide buildings and open space for sporting activities for young, old and disabled.
