Friends of St Norbert's School is a charity which operates primarily to raise funds for the children at our School.We run small events throughout the year such as Discos,cake sales,movie evenings and a Summer Fair.

RAISING FUNDS, FOR EXAMPLE BY BOOK SALES IN THE OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENT AND EVENTS SUCH AS THE CHRISTMAS QUIZ AND SANTA FUN RUN. WE WORK TO ARTICULATE LOCAL VIEWS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE HOSPITAL TO LOCAL PEOPLE. THE COMMITTEE MEETS REGULARILY TO RECEIVE AND DECIDE ON REQUESTS FOR THE USE OF OUR FUNDS.

Village Hall providing a safe, comfortable, equal access facility, a place to meet, learn, access services and socialise, encouraging the whole community to join together for support and development to improve the quality of life in a diverse rural area.

Provision of premises (Skendleby Old School) for local playgroup and hall for rent by local people for wide range of activities and meetings.

To relieve persons in need of medical attention within the beneficial area served by the Billingborough Medical Practice by providing medical equipment on loan or other facilities not normally available from the District Health Authority as well as maintaining and repairing or replacing such equipment as necessary.

The charity raises funds for the children of Market Rasen Church of England Primary School, through non uniform days, cinema nights, family bingo, annual summer fete, discos, coffee mornings, etc.

Promoting the self help further education, physical activity and social well being of our third age membership.

Maintenance of and provision of special benefits for Barkston School.Promotion of education of persons under the age of 25 years resident in the Parish of Barkston.

MAINTAIN PLAYING FIELD AT NORTH SOMERCOTES

Stimulating local interest in the preservation of the architectural beauty of Wisbech.Encouraging the creation of good modern buildings which generations to come will consider worthy of preservation.Representing the views of the Society to local, county and other authorities and to co-operate with them to secure these ends.Helping in every way the cultural life of Wisbech.

Luncheon Club/Social Meetings and Provision of Transport for Disabled/Chronically Sick. For Elderly/Old Providing much needed social contact.

As a Charity we look after the Playing Fields for the village and on behalf of the Parish Council. Cricket, Football and any activity that villages wish to take part in.The management committee consists of 9 members and is organised and maintained by the Parish Council on behalf of the residents of the parish

Conservation and display of Sleaford's historic heritage. Operates a town museum - opened in April 2015.

Monthly Meeting with Guest Speaker on a widely-ranging series of life experience topics. Interest groups meet, on a basis decided by the Group, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, seasonally, occasionally, virtually or on an 'ad hoc' basis and covers Arts, History, Languages, Science & Technology, Sport and Social Activities.

To see communities freed from poverty and hopelessness, transformed by:Enabling the self-developing capabilities of the people we serve, through listening, teaching what ever topics are needed, training, encouraging and empowering.Offering a safe environment to people of all faiths, no faith, all ages, all nationalities.Working in developing countries as invited, starting with work in Kenya.

The Charities activities within the parish of Market Deeping, cover the provision of grants & direct aid to individuals who require help & assistance to overcome a particular problem or meet a specific need.

PTFA brings together parents, teachers and your local community (friends) to raise money for resources for the children and to support the school. Engage in activities or provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils.

We organise a subscription series of six chamber music concerts each year from October to March. Prior to the pandemic, many of our visiting artists also visited local schools, mainly primary, to give educational workshops.
