CHARITABLE SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS IN CREETON AND COUNTHORPE PARISH.

We have organised two fundraising events in the fourth year of Megan's Challenge.In May we held our first 10K Fun Run/Walk which took place round the village of Gayton, Norfolk. Following track and road. Our chosen charity for this event was The Norfolk Hospice - Tapping House. In September we held our second Butterfly Ball to raise money for Megan's Challenge

We hold coffee mornings every Thursday morning. This is a social and meeting place. A tea party once a year for at least 60 senior citizens, free of charge. Outings, usually about three times a year..We have an annual fund raising event comprising of a tombola and raffle. Age Concern leaflets etc to everyones attention.

Provides support to local and international charities by agreement with all our members.

Education and training of local women. Initiating and supporting local events and projects.

Careby Village Hall, out of use since the 1960's, has now been renovated and finally came into use in December 2021. It is used for meetings, classes and leisure time with the object of improving the health, social welfare, well being and also for combatting loneliness for the inhabitants of the villages and surrounding areas. It promotes a sense of community.

Collects income from investments for distribution

In Grantham and surrounding parishesto provide bursaries for youth choristers for instrumental and vocal tuition;to provide bursaries for keyboard tuition and training in church musicianship;to organise choral workshops for St Wulfram's church Grantham and local churches;to provide musical outreach to local churches and to local schools in the rich tradition of choral and organ music;

The Charity makes bi-annual Dole Distributions (Good Friday and St. Thomas's Day) from its annual land rents and income from investments to residents living in the Parish of Fleet Hargate aged over 60 years of age who have been resident in the Parish for over 10 years. The amount of the Distributions escalates as the recipients increase in age. There are special provisions for widows/widowers with

Giving of grants to needy people in Haconby and Stainfield as and when required.

Provision of events and facilities for the inhabitants of Welton le Marsh and its neighbourhood.

TO WHERE POSSIBLE RAISE MONIES FOR RESEARCH INTO BOWEL DISEASES AND OFFER HELP AND TO DONATE ITEMS TO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION. TO ORGANISE MEETINGS AND SOCIAL EVENTS FOR ITS MEMBERS.

Activities and events to raise funds for the purchase of equipment/resources for Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School.

Raises funds and provides grants to facilitate and enhance teaching and activities for Boston Grammar School pupils.

Fundraising and organising social events to develop school/parent and school/community relationships: village fete, school Christmas Fair, discos, beetle drive etc. Funds raised are spent on the children - taking them to a pantomime, paying for Christmas activities etc - and on buying equipment for them to use at school eg outdoor play equipment, resources for outdoor play

24 INNER WHEEL CLUBS MAKE UP DISTRICT 7, WHICH IS PART OF THE ASSOCIATION OF INNER WHEEL CLUBS IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND. THE DISTRICT RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BOTH AT A CLUB AND DISTRICT LEVEL, BY ORGANISING SOCIAL EVENTS IN AID OF SPECIFIC CHARITIES.

Provide facilities for the local community

SUPPORT OF THE NEEDY AND GENERAL ROTARY FUNDRAISING

Provides community building for hire for the purpose of educational, sport and social functions of the village and surrounding area

We fundraise to give Children with cancer, life limiting illness and terminally ill gifts throughout the year.

Fundraising to provide additional equipment for the use of pupils and to enrich their school life. Events included 50/50 Club, DVD and photo sales and raffle at Nativity plays; disco and a Summer Fair and refreshments at Sports day.

Community meeting place

The raising and distribution of funds to Rotary Charities and for other charitable purposes. The voluntary participation by members in charity activities.
