Arranging trips out to local places of interest, parties at Christmas and Halloween with entertainments, monthly meetings for bingo and other amusements. Transport is provided for the trips and where needed for the monthly meetings

The Discovery Centre is registered as an open access centre offering positive activities for children/young people 5 to 25 after school & during school holidays, we also offer NEET engagement courses North Lynn Discovery also run the SOS Safehaven Project which supports the night time economy when people find themselves in distressAll these projects offer volunteer opportunities to young people.

The museum has been established to advance the education of the public to promote, restore, conserve and display all aspects of 19th and 20th century technology, many of the artefacts displayed can be demonstrated. The museum also conducts Reminiscence Sessions for groups of Dementia and Care Home Residents. The museum was built by and is run by Volunteers and Trustees on a not for profit bases.

The aim of the centre is to provide an interesting and stimulating setting within which the clients can meet, make friends, become involved in activities and interests of their choice and be supported by the level of personal help and supervision which they may require Our daily programme is organised as a response to clients individual and combined needs.
