A local charity affiliated to but financially independent of the Royal Mencap Society.We work in Liverpool and Sefton with adults who have a mild- moderate learning disability. We aim to prevent social isolation and enable people to progress. We provide: outreach; befriending; a range of social groups and physical activities; workshops; volunteering, employability and LD awareness

The charity provides advocacy and information services to vulnerable residents of Sefton. Its objects are to relieve these vulnerable residents from social exclusion empowering them to make informed decisions and choices about their lives to achieve change. The charity promotes confidence to speak out and where this is not possible will represent and speak on behalf of the service user.

To promote racial harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) Raising awareness of equal opportunities, diversity, and citizenship, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of information, materials, and training.(b) Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, or other leisure time occupation of individuals.

LDAS provides services to ALL women & girls,16 plus, who have been subjected to domestic violence & abuse. We support women whether they intend to stay in the relationship, want help to leave or have left and still suffering the effects. We do this by providing trained specialist DA advocates, one to one support, counselling, group programmes, safety planning, housing, legal and welfare support.

To alleviate hardship and distress caused by the break-up of marriage and family, and to preserve and protect the health, both physical and mental, of adults and children by the provision of a family centre that encompasses mediation and counselling services within the Warrington area.

The charity holds regular Sunday services, Monthly Lamp Offering Services and Special Dharma Services. It provides counselling on a variety of subjects and conducts Chinese courses. It also performs marriages and funeral services.

Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary continues to face increasing workloads due to the cruelty and abandonment of animals within Merseyside and the surrounding areas. The overall vision of RMAS is to grow and develop, to ensure that it is effective and fit for purpose to meet the increasing demand and promote education and animal welfare to the general public.

Provision of a Youth Club and Community Centre in the Everton area of Liverpool, including a full programme of After School and Senior Club Activities.

The general objective of the charity is to support the advancement of the charitable ministries carried on by the members of the Congregation for the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion and the well being of those who benefit from the Congregation's ministries; and to care for the members throughout their lives with the Congregation.

PRINCIPLESDar al Zahra (Liverpool) is community charitable organisation that is run by women and serves women in Liverpool, UK and beyond. Our main target audience is young women between the ages of 14-18 years old.

LIVERPOOL COMMUNITY ADVICE'S SOLE PURPOSE IS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE, AND THROUGH PERSONAL ADVICE POINT THE WAY TO RESOLVING ISSUES, DEALING WITH DEBTS, MAXIMISING INCOME, PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS, IN FACT ANYTHING FOR WHICH PEOPLE NEED HELP AND SUPPORT.

To promote the the provision of sport and other recreation and education facilities for the residents of Anfield and Everton areas of Liverpool in the interests of social welfare.The aim is to improve the lifestyle and activities available to those who may be disadvantaged through age,infirmity,disability or finacial constraints.

To alleviate disadvantage by the promotion of creative activities, particularly new writing, through the provision of activities and events, and through the promotion of new media with a view to promoting learning and encouraging new writing.

ORIENTAL FINE ARTS ACADEMY OF LONDON (OFAAL) IS AN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT OFFERING INDEPENDENT EXAMINATION BY PROVIDES PRACTICAL AND THEORY EXAMINATION ON SOUTH INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC AND DANCE, AND ALSO TO PROMOTE NATIVE LANGUAGE AND CULTURES BY PROVIDING RECREATION AND EDUCATIONWE CONDUCT EXAMINATION BY ANNUAL, DURING APRIL - AUG , IN THE UK AND MAINLAND EUROPE, AND IN SEPT ONLY IN THE UK.

We support the long term recovery and reintegration of the most socially excluded members of society across Merseyside. We provide individually tailored packages to assist with re-entry into mainstream activities such as employment, education, or voluntary work. The Charity's purpose is to relieve the suffering of animals, in particular cats, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, goats, sheep, ponies, donkeys and horses in the Northwest of England and to provide or maintain refuge, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception and care of unwanted domestic animals.

STEC delivers Community Engagement, Adult and Community Learning, Community Support Projects, Managed Office Space and Business Support on a Social Enterprise basis, to promote inclusion, employability, lifelong learning and sustainability, with focus upon deprived communities in South Liverpool (eg Speke / Garston)

We run a community centre for local people, offering meeting facilities for local residents free of charge, adult learning and training classes/sessions, fitness classes, social club/bingo and in school holidays play schemes for children and young people. We have many contacts with local organisations and provide sign posting information on a wide variety of social issues from health to job ops
