To organise an annual competition to promote the art of dance.

The objectives of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in acheiving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritial potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as memebers of their local, national and international communities.

To pursue the objectives of the Guide Association concerned with the development of girls and young women

(1) The general ecclesiastical and charitable purposes of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical parish of Luton St. Matthew and /or(11) The relief in need of poor persons resident in the said ecclesiastical parish of Luton St. Matthew or enrolled on the parochial electoral roll of that parish.

The BNHS was formed in 1946 and its main function is to record the flora and fauna of the county of Bedfordshire. Over 20 recorders cover many branches of natural history study and their annual reports are published in the Bedfordshire Naturalist. The Society depends on annual subscriptions and members receive quarterly newsletter Wild about Beds and programmes of meetings.

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE ARABIC AND ENGLISHLANGUAGES AND CULTURE AMONG ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN LUTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS.

Performs 4 concerts per year in the Luton/Dunstable area for the benefit of local people. We are an organisation that promotes choral singing and trains local people to perform at concert standard.

Grants made to the four dioceses of St Albans, London, Southwark and Chelmsford to support post-ordinand training.

The main activity of the charity has been running after school activities in order to advance the education of children of statutory school age.To provide the recreational facilities in the interest of social welfare.To empower the community through education and training.

Raising money for local and national children's charities/projects:SACA, a voluntary charity organisation is the organiser of the event -Birmingham to London Charity Bike Ride (Est. 1984). Every year a children's charity is nominated as a beneficiary for the annual ride by the riders and volunteers of SACA. SACA also run their own projects to benefit sick children and children with disabilities.

.Meetings are held on Sundays and other days of the week which are open to the public.These meetings are for worship, bible teaching and preaching regularly.The building is registered for weddings (with Authorised Persons) and funeral services are held for members and others occasionally.We have special meetings to which invitations are widely distributed.

We are a sports club. We play cricket.

The charity has not been able to establish any centre though we have been looking for a suitable building or land for last few years. Without any centre we were unable to organize any activities for the local community. The charity has been orgainising only Friday Prayers for members and well-wishers by hiring local community centre every Friday. Average 200 people attend at the prayer.

Nurture the Children International an opportunity to join in the fight against child neglect. We help children across the UK build mental resilience and a healthy level of cultural awareness. Supporting our education, feeding, water and health programs, also provides sponsors a simple way to support the world's most vulnerable children and put an end to child hunger, poverty and exploitation.

Fund raising for the children of the Warden Hill Infant and Junior Schools

Organising an annual Folk Festival in Kimpton in July;Maintaining Folk Sessions each month in Kimpton and Wheathampstead;Organising 50-minute 'Pop-Up' concerts in Kimpton during autumn and winter to further generate interest in folk music;Launching an outreach programme to foster increased interesting and understanding of folk music in local schools.

The Luton Town Centre Chaplaincy seeks to provide pastoral support to all those who visit, work or live in Luton Town Centre

The advancement of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures (public celebration of Christian festivals) producing and / or distributing literature on Christian faith to enlighten others about the Christian religion. Practising through philanthropy and other charitable activities globally.

The Obex Foundation focuses on reducing health inequalities across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. We work with local schools and our delivery partners to identify needs and support a range of activities to offer education on preventative self-health and the importance of being proactive around fitness, movement, nutrition and oral health.

A charity supporting people with Learning Disabilities and their families: Current activities include:Regular social Family Disco for our beneficiaries and their family and friendsA club for sociable young minded adults with learning disabilities. (Age 18 to 30 to join) activities, outings and weekends away. Provides a supportive environment to meet, socialise and enjoy time with friend

Organsiation of fund raising activities for children and their parents/carers. Events include Summer Fun day, school discos, Christmas bazaar and Easter events. Evening activies include quiz nights, bingo nights and games evenings. We also raise funds by recycling clothes.

The promotion of ringing for Divine Service, the cultivation of Scientific Change Ringing, the preservation of proper Belfry Conduct and the encouragement of ringers to take part in the Worshipping Life of the Church.
