The charity was established to encourage the playing of rugby football (or such other games to promote physical education and development) amongst young people aged under 21 years in the East Midlands Rugby Football Union area.

We are a parent run Friends association raising fund to help support school activities and special events for the children.

We provide various community based services and run activities that aims to;- Preventing the transmission of HIV.- Promoting the benefit of early diagnosis.- Relieving poverty for disadvantaged people living with HIV.- Building knowledge and challenging prejudice through education.

The friends raise money by holding various concerts, car boot sales, our strawberry tea, xmas bazaar, bbq/luncheon, various raffles, church stall/tea bar, sunshine bags.

Khidmat runs services for older people and carers mainly from Pakistani/Kashmiri communities. We run Wellbeing clubs for older people and provide information, advice and advocacy. We also have Carers support services and facilitate older people learning new skills. We promote social inclusion and work to reduce social isolation and loneliness in older people and carers.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

We are an amateur symphony orchestra offering an opportunity to play works from the classical repertoire to players of all ages and enthic backgrounds from within the local community. We put on three concerts per year to which members of the general public are encouraged to attend on purchase of moderately priced tickets.

The Women's Institute organisation is based on the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice. The main purpose of the WI are; to advance the education of women, to promote development for the public benefit and to advance health and citizenship by the promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering

We provide continuous live or recorded radio service for the enterainment of patients ,staff and visitors at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.To engage patients in broadcast through visits to the wards,request from patients,staff,ralatives.We aim to help the patients feel part of the community,decrease feelings of isolation and contrbute to the well-being and recovery of patients in L & D area

Altaleem Trust organised First Aid training sessions for children in various schools and Islamic centres through out the UK.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at Wigmore Church & Community Centre in LutonWe play carpet bowls and board games etc from 6.00pm until 9.00pm. We also have outings, dinners etc during the year.
