The Trust focusses most of its support on organisations based in Bedfordshire or projects for the benefit of the people of that County. A small number of national charities with a focus on family social issues are also supported. Furthermore, the trustees are also sympathetic towards applications received from organistions of which the late Humphrey Whitbread was a benefactor.

LIF was formed to give a voice to the Irish community in Luton and now, our welfare, social, and cultural services extend far beyond Luton and include Irish, Irish Traveller, and other communities.

PROVIDING EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

Practical, emotional and spiritual support offered to to women sexually exploited through prostitution through weekly drop-in, outreach, and be-friending sessions.

We provide a day care service for adults with learning disabilities in the Bedford area, offering gardening, furniture renovation, and training in independent living skills.

Nursery and Creche based in The Mall, Luton shopping Centre. Services include Daycare Nursery and Shoppers Creche operating Mon-Fri 8am - 5.30pm and Saturdays 10am - 2pm. Free Nursery Educational Sessions for children age 3. Planned activities and educational toys including painting, messy play, puzzles, books and toys. Community Voluntary Service (CVS) is a voluntary and community sector support organisation, offering a range of services, enabling local organisations and communities to make a difference.

Th charity's activities are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age.

The Trust provides & maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians often referred to as 'Brethren'. F.U.N. provides services and support to disabled children, young adults and their families living in Luton and Bedfordshire. We run a variety of respite and family services and activities across the year for young people living with any type of disability or additional need, and their family carers.

PBIC provides a multilingual services including career advice, general advice, ESOL, Employability Skills courses. As part of our support to help migrant workers integrate into British society we organize social events, workshops and forums. We offer and encourage volunteering opportunities.We work with partners aiming to inform local and national strategies in relation to migrants.

The furtherance of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain in the area of Luton and Leighton Area Meeting and beyond by for example strengthening the life and witness of Quaker Meetings; undertaking Quaker service for the relief of suffering at home and abroad; providing for the pastoral care of members and attenders.
