The Trust only supports projects in Africa which are personally known to the trustees. At present the countries include:- DR Congo, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. It supports the following types of organisations/work:-medical work, agricultural demonstration gardens, self help groups, community based organisations, schools and college fees for students and medical staff

Restore the graves of members of the armed services and auxiliary forces who served at any point between 1775 and 1815, irrespective of nationality, so that they can become sites of memory for the public.Bury veterans from the period who are disinterred.Educate the public about the experiences of those who served in this period

Support students in Malawi with grants and scholarships.

The Aydin Foundation aims to undertake specific aid programs designed around the lack of clean and safe water whilst also educating those who would be using it across Asia & Africa. National projects consist of free school meals during holidays and free first aid classes to pre-school parents.

We build primary schools in Malawi. We are about to start on our 11th.We do not manage them, but hand over to government.

The AfTA exists to advance research and education in the study and practice of African theatre and performance by 1). providing a regular forum for scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas, knowledge and information; 2). publishing and disseminating research and information on African theatre and performance 3). providing information on African theatre and performance to the wider public.

Operating globally, activities include:(educational) learning material development; exchanges, performances; teacher training; classes, workshops, retreats and courses; collaborative embodied research laboratories; (arts) research, preservation, sustainment and dissemination; (hardship relief) the provision of grants, goods or services.Resourcing and administering funded projects.

A charity that helps fulfil wishes of children and young adults with critical and life limiting illnesses. We do this by accepting wish referrals on our website. We also aim to relieve the burden of those who live abroad without access to basic necessities such as water and food. We will do this by building water wells and supplying agricultural packages.

1. Promotes gender equality and empowers women in developing countries by providing access to education, skills training, and microfinance programs. 2. Supports initiatives that address child poverty and offers long-term solutions for at-risk children including educational support. 3. Supports projects that enhance community resilience and adaptive capacity in response to climate change.

Advance the Christian religion mainly, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and distributing literature on Christian religion to enlighten others.Relieve and combat poverty, distress, financial hardship, and sickness.

The principal objectives are the relief of poverty and the promotion of Christian Faith & Values. Because of our limited resources, we normally work through grants to individuals or small organisations known to the trustees. We value training grants, encouragement of young people, and investment in small groups which can influence others in achieving our main aims.

SECCA-UK exists to relieve the suffering of widows, children and other vulnerable groups through provision of food, water, shelter and accessible health services. We integrate self-sufficiency and sustainability principles in all interventions. By raising funds through various events , grants proposals and working through SECCA Malawi and other charitable organisations with similar vision.

The prevention or relief of poverty of the people in Malawi by:1) The provision of grants and bursaries;2) The funding of the activities of the Malama Feeding Centre in Thyolo;3) The collection, dispatch and distribution of education, medical and relief goods throughout Malawi;4) To improve the conditions of life and/or promote the education of the people of Malawi.

The Community Development Network is a free global internet facility providing multimedia resources comprising networking opportunities, training and commercial 'know how' to help equip leaders to assist community led development , linked to the global sustainable development goals The Network is a Christian led charity offering free resources to people of any faith or none

Responding rapidly to disasters and building disaster response capability through other organisations in particular providing helicopters and other logistical services rapidly to people affected by disasters in South East AfricaWorking with other NGOs to improve the disaster resilience of deliver vulnerable communities in the areas where we operate.

The FIOH Fund wishes to make a significant contribution to the alleviation of poverty and the improvement of the natural environment by supporting the work of non-government organisations in poor countries with the same aims.

We work with local organisations in Malawi to:- promote access to justice for the public benefit in Malawi- advance the education of the public in Malawi on their basic legal rights- provide, organise or facilitate legal advice or assistance which is free of charge- improve the treatment and conditions for prisoners and their families in Malawi

Advancement of education and community development worldwide, particularly in relation to the provision of ethical leadership training. Training is delivered in character-based principles leadership to organisations, senior civil servants, senior police officials and senior government officials. It also provides volunteer resource to Pointman Leadership Institute.

We give support to persons with special needs in Nigeria and Ghana through training and school fees payment. We are also growing our membership and volunteers. We are planning for the Future Talks in school. A day Science Expo for the blind. And our December Hands on Science Camp and Charity fund raising event in Sheffield, and others. We are opening Charity Shops.

The trust awards grants to charitable organisations at home and abroad which are working to help disadvantaged people.Applications are received from these organisations and are considered once a year by the trustees. The applications are short-listed and local opinion then sought as to which of the short-list are favoured. Usually four/five grants are awarded.

Design Outreach UK provides opportunities, information and insight for the Water, sanitation and Hygene needs of peoples in countries where these are minimally available, especially in East African countries.

Promoting the conservation and regeneration of the environment generally throughout theCommonwealth, through supporting, scaling and implementing regenerative projects and promotingscientific and academic research and education.

My Body is My Body Programme is an internationally acclaimed body safety program using music to educate and empower adults and children on child abuse prevention. Distributed in 60 plus countries worldwide, it offers a free resource for communities, parents, teachers, and carers. Our mission is to stop child abuse through positive, non threatening education.
