Wind Empowerment works to develop and implement small scale wind turbines as a rural electrification solution in the developing world. We work as an international network of academics, practitioners and small wind stakeholders to share knowledge and experiences in order to ensure our small wind projects are as sustainable and effective as possible.

To advance education; to advance in life, help and relieve the needs of children and young people; and to prevent and relieve children and young people in poverty in particular but not exclusively by providing funds and by supporting projects for children and young people living in Nsanje district in Southern Malawi and Kingtom, BawBaw and Waterloo Communities in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

DART PROVIDE TEAMS OF PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED ARBORISTS, TRAINED AND EQUIPPED TO SUPPORT DISASTER RELIEF OPERATIONS WORLDWIDE. IN ADDITION TO DEALING EFFICIENTLY WITH TREES THAT POSE A DANGER TO THE DISASTER HIT COMMUNITY OR AN OBSTRUCTION TO THE RELIEF EFFORT, THEY TRAIN LOCAL VOLUNTEERS AND DONATE MODERN EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE RESILIENCE AGAINST FUTURE EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS.

BKLT was formed to raise awareness of Lupus and support research into the causes, treatment and cure of lupus. Since establishment it has made giant strides in raising awareness of lupus. Despite acute funding problems BKLT have continued to make donations towards research.The Trustees remain resolute in pursuit of the charity's aims and objectives. We hope to give an improved performance report.

Our purposes are to relieve poverty and sickness, to promote and preserve good health and advance education of children in Myanmar and elsewhere in the world by the provision of furniture, clothing, food, appliances; building maintenance and repairs; supply of books, educational tools, stationery, school uniforms; support of orphanages and other facilities for abandoned infants and children.

We provide small grants to grass roots organisations and educational institutions in Tanzania and Malawi. The aim is to assist local communities to conserve the fragile habitats around upland streams, whilst also enhancing their livelihood opportunities. The grants are also designed to enable students and early career researchers in the two countries to gain practical experience in conservation.

R World funds development projects in north-east Malawi in the small village of Chitimba. R World works with the Brown Munthali Foundation (BMF), a registered NGO based in Malawi, and focuses mainly on education projects with some funds being allocated for health and environmental purposes. The main project has been a library and R World continues to donate funds for this purpose.

Ethnic Voice offers practical help and advice on learning and work to members of the BME group, whether you are in work or unemployed. It is a local service and it is delivered by a group of volunteers who have had similar experience. It aims to build a relationship between members of the BME group in England and Wales with their Home Countries,in the areas of Education,Health,Environment

The advancement of education among disadvantaged children and young people throughout the world by the provision of financial assistance in meeting school fees, the provision of school uniforms or by such other exclusively charitable means as the trustees shall from time to time decide.

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty

In common with Rotary Clubs everywhere, the Rotary Club of Poulton-Le-Fylde helps deserving causes in the local area, nationally, and internationally.

Outreach activities for children during weekends and holidays; parties, holidays trips, deaf awareness and other training seminars aimed at providing deaf people with social skills and so gain sense of belonging. Opening up a boarding primary school in Malawi providing mainstream education and special apprenticeship training and employment skills for deaf orphaned children.

Developing a self-sustainable community/educational centre in the north of Malawi.Sourcing international volunteers to assist with education, health, construction, agriculture and youth projects.Raising funds in the UK and Malawi to go towards locally-run community development projects.Sourcing educational and health donations from the UK.

Heb Ffin is a charitable trust intending to provide a sustainable model for Christian philanthropy aimed at Wales and Africa.
