The promotion of the Christian Faith through the enabling of Christian discipleship and evangelism.The practical and effective relief of poverty and suffering, particularly but not exclusively in Africa.

Religious Activities. Teaching men, women and children about Islam as a way of life. Teaching how to live in harmony with fellow neighbours irrespective of belief. Teaching of morals aiming towards reducing antisocial behaviour.

The charity awards grants to those organisations in the North West of England who the late Doreen Greenlees wished to benefit via the trust contained in her will. This includes organisations committed to the welfare of animals, the maintenance of the fabric of and structural alterations and additions to buildings used for Christian worship and alleviating poverty through Christian social welfare.

Regular, public worship open to all. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses, assemblies and groups. Promoting the mission of the Church by the provision of activities for parents and toddlers, children, youth, senior citizens. Supporting charities associated with Christ Church Harpurhey in Christian work in the UK and overseas.

Financial year 2016 to 2017 was a successful year for our charity as a modest growth in income received from our donors was achieved helping us fund various projects for those in need approaching us for assistance. Concerted efforts started at the end of 2013 to increase awareness of what we do as a Church especially around spiritual growth and charitable activities has continued to bear fruit.

To promote mental and physical health through the provision of financial assistance to charities and other organisations committed to those aims or indeed other exclusive charitable purposes determined by the trustees. The UKH Foundation primarily supports charitable projects based in the North West of England.

The principal activity of The Chaplaincy is to serve all who work at or pass through Manchester Airport. The Chaplaincy's origins were ecumenical but this has moved to a multi faith perspective and The Chaplaincy also serves those with no faith at all. The board membership reflects the continuing involvement of the local churches.

TEC designs enterprising education projects for all, in particular, those from disadvantaged backgrounds or communities in the UK and in Europe. We raise the profile of enterprise as a tool for self-development and achievement by designing creating innovative projects which explore pathways for individuals, communities and organisations so they can start or enhance their journey to success.

Provision of weekly religious services. Publication of religious tracts. Provision of a dedicated community centre.

Al Manhal aims to provide social, cultural and Islamic educational support for women in and around Manchester , whatever their cultural or background may be.

Grant making to registered charities in the beneficial area.

TO ENABLE PERSONS IN MANCHESTER AND SALFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS OR DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE;

Advancement of Christian Religion

The improvement, enhancement and major refurbishment of Manchester Cathedral, its fabric and grounds and the provision of new facilities and equipment of general benefit to Manchester Cathedral and the community served by Manchester Cathedral.

To advance, promote and develop appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects for the benefit of individuals resident within a 30 mile radius of BB8 0RY. To award scholarships, bursaries or maintenance to persons in respect of their musical education who reside in approved geographical limits (30 mile radius of BB8 0RY) to assist in the entry and furtherance of a musical career.
