THE CHARITY'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE PROVISION & DISTRIBUTION OF GRANTSAND DONATIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE ADVANCEMENT AND FURTHERANCE OF THEJEWISH RELIGION AND JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE ALLEVIATION OFPOVERTY AMONG THE JEWISH COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

The charitable company was formed in 2013 and became a registered social landlord in 2014. The company owns and manages accommodation services for the benefit of homeless young people within the Tyneside and Manchester areas, as well the London Borough of Haringey.

We provide education, training, volunteering and associated support for excluded adults in Greater Manchester. Our services are aimed at adults who have been through some form of resettlement process related to substance misuse, homelessness, mental illnes, or offending behaviour. We also provide resources /training for other organisations in our field. (Formerly known as MERC and NEARIS.)

Beechwood Cancer Care Centre aims to provide emotional and psychological support to anyone affected by cancer or other life limiting illnesses. This includes counselling, complementary therapies and group activities. The services delivered are for patients, carers and the wider family members including children.

Wigan Family Welfare offer advocacy and counselling to both adults and children. It provides mental health advocacy, independent mental health advocacy, children's advocacy and supports a self advocacy group for people with Learning Disabilities . The counselling it provides is in a variety of settings from certain Secondary Schools to Sure Start Children's Centres.

Providing a faith-based education for girls and boys in the Manchester area.

Manchester Young Lives provides open access play,youth engagement and educational activities to children and young people in Manchester. We provide dedicated support and learning through activities which enable the physical, social, emotional and educational development of children and young people which assists in improving their life chances and making a successful transition to adult life.

The Manchester Alliance Church provides Cantonese and English services every Sunday, organises fellowships for Christians to strengthen their church life, and offers bible lessons. Besides, the Church serves the younger generations of local Chinese by organising Chinese Language School.

4CT provides a range of services through its two centres, Sporting Edge and the Grange. This includes playschemes, dance, sports and youth activities and luncheon club. 4CT also supports other organisations offering capacity building support, project management and support services.

Providing support for education, particularly the support of Jewish religious education, mostly for children/youth from Greater Manchester and for the Beis Yaakov High School for Girls, Salford.

Maintaining a place for the public worship of God by the Ivy Church members and members of the public.Preaching, teaching and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Providing pastoral care, practical help and support to those attending the Church and to members of the public.Providing financial help and advisory services to people experiencing financial and practical need.

The principal activity of the company in the year under review was that of advancement of Orthodox Jewish religious education, the relief of poverty sickness and infirmity among members of the Jewish faith and advancement of such other objects as are charitable according to English Law.

The Charity delivers a co-produced activities and arts programme, a volunteering programme and education, training, signposting, employment support, health support and access to external services through weekly clinics. We also work strategically internally and externally, with people marginalised by homelessness, to try to eradicate homelessness in Manchester.

We hold Quaker Meetings for Worship in five locations across Manchester and Warrington. Our Meetings are open to all, including children.We work to build peace, protect the environment and promote equality. We raise money to support causes we believe in including work with destitute asylum seekers and work to relieve poverty.

The charity provides financial support to organisations providing a sound religious education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of traditional Judaism and to institutions set up to provide aid to the Jewish needy.

The Big Issue North Trust supports the homeless and vulnerably housed people who sell Big Issue North magazine in the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. From providing financial aid during periods of hardship, to funding education and training courses, to projects such as breakfast clubs and home furnishing packages, it exists to help vendors to change their lives and achieve their goals.

We are a mentoring charity working with children in deprived communities to help them grow in competence and character. We improve self-confidence and develop numeracy, literacy, communication and memory skills, whilst reinforcing our core values of fairness, self-control, good judgement and staying power. We do this through 1 to 1 mentoring with positive role models and team activities.

WeMindTheGap bridges the gap between young people aged 16 -25 yrs, disadvantaged by their circumstances, and the wider community in the North West including North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside & Manchester. Through the provision of totally holistic, paid traineeships the aim is to give new opportunities in life and work which address any gaps in maturation, aspiration, confidence, care and skills.

Counselling and related services to adults, young people, and children. Counselling for takes place in 23 settings across Greater Mancht: 10 locations for adults; 13 for children and young people; all through schools and community settings. We work with many issues including depression, anxiety, and bereavement. Counsellors are supervised by casework supervisors & Beacon is a member of the BACP.
