The organisation operates cafes and other activities for the purpose of providing practical experience and training to offenders and the homeless. It current operates in one location in Manchester.

Providing advice/support to clients facing challenges accessing services - SAL aims to serve people of Somali descent living in Manchester. We provide key services to members, including advice/support, regarding: debt, housing, health, benefits, education/employment/training, council & referral services. We also offer basic English language, IT & workclub to any individual regardless of origin.

To advance the Hindu religion in Manchester for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals and cultural activities to enlighten others about the Hindu religion.

Projects and events; people share in Faith, Values, Culture and Customs via: Interfaith meetings on various understandings of Spirituality in a community setting with themes based on arts, music, culture and food. Educational events promoting shared social action on developing a community of respect, understanding, cohesion and harmony. Specific focus on projects for young people and diversity.

Hear4You gives support, friendship, advice and fun activity & event days to Deaf & Hearing Impaired children and their families in the Lancashire area. For example, days out, football sessions, soft play sessions, arts & crafts sessions among many others.

The trustees had successfully recruited 4 international volunteers for the year 2021/22, but unfortunately due to previous Covid travel restrictions, we were unable to operate a programme. We were hopeful to operate a shortened version of the programme, for 6 months from January to July 22, but even this was not possible due to the difficulties encountered in trying to obtain visa approvals.

Scouting

Our place of operation is in UK /West Africa mainly Sierra Leone and Liberia, providing education, help and support to the Homeless Disable, Orphans and Victims of Domestic Abuse. We also solicit funds to pursue our goals, We establish Schools, Water Well's, and Vocational Inst. for Women affected by domestic Abuse and young Adults. We Educate and sensitize women on the danger's of FGM.

There is no charity activities for last year .

The provision of prizes for candidates sitting examinations of the Chartered Insurance Institute within the area administered by the British Insurance Brokers Association, Greater Manchester & West Pennine Region.Such prizes to be awarded to the candidates attaining the most meritorious record in completing the said examinations.

To provide resources for work with children/older adults within the reach of Lightbowne Evangelical Church

Oakwood Youth Club operates in the Greater Manchester Area (predominantly Salford). Providing social and recreational activities for young people with learning disabilities. It is a voluntary club, with extensive experience in providing quality experiences in the arts, sports, outdoor pursuits and general lifeskill opportunities.
