The restoration, preservation, and maintenance, for the public benefit the historic vessels known as M.T. Kent and M.T. Fearnought and/or such other vessels as may come into the custody or ownership of the C.I.O. This is achieved via the efforts of volunteer deck and engine room staff. Based in No 1 Basin Chatham Maritime. We visit as many maritime events in the east and south east as possible.

To further or benefit the residents of Medway, Kent and the surrounding areas by:Promoting community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of coaching and facilities for Judo.Advancing amateur sport by providing coaching and facilities for Judo.

Additional facilities and equipment for the new school buildings and site where these cannot be funded by the Local Authority (to include; landscaping, provision of wheelchair access and top up equipment and facilities);2. During the 2024/25 financial year, the choir performed 12 public concerts to raise funds for charities and good causes at the behest of concert organisers. Our nominated "Charity of the Year" for 2025/26 is 'Catching Lives'. Our Young Musicians programme has been enhanced by the creation of a Bursary to cover their travelling and incidental costs.

The Teaching of Young people life skills as well as giving opportunities for adventures and new experiences via scout camps.

Loop Dance Company's founding vision is to 'loop' together contemporary dance training, performance, participation and appreciation. Current activities include Loop's touring programme and the LoopEd outreach programme; Dance & disability, Dance & Curriculum projects in schools and Dance & Health projects for the community as well as the Dance Artist Support Programme for recent dance graduates.

National Youth organisation for boys & girls aged 12-18 aiming young people towards the responsible standards of the Royal Navy.

The aim of the scout association is to promote the physical, moral, intellectual and spiritual development of young people. The method whereby we seek to achieve this aim is by training scheme (the Balanced Training Programme) which is both enjoyable and challenging. All scouting activities are underpinned by the Scout Promise and Law.

Fundraising for school, including raffles, disco's, fetes.

Friends of Riverside Primary School organises fun, family friendly and community events in order to raise funds for Riverside Primary School.

Cricket and the welfare of cricketers.

Southeast 4x4 Response is a volunteer group of ordinary people who are willing to use their own four wheel drive vehicles to assist the wider community in times of need.

Bearsted Choral Society is a mixed choir of approximately 40 voices. Membership is open to all ages, though at present all singers are adults. We perform a variety of concerts each year.
