During the 2022/23 financial year the choir performed 12 public concerts to raise funds for charities and good causes at the behest of concert organisers. Our nominated "Charity of the Year" for 2023/24 is SERV Kent aka Bloodrunners. Our Young Musicians programme has been enhanced by the creation of a Bursary to cover their travelling and incidental costs.

To promote for the benefit of the public at large the provision of facilities for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities. These facilities will be in the areas known as Broomhill Park and The Old Orchard, Strood, Rochester, Kent.

Our objects are:1 - the promotion of efficiency of The Parachute Regt & Airborne Forces2 - the relief of need, hardship & distress amongst past & present members ofThe Parachute Regt, Airborne Forces & their dependents;3 - the promotion & maintenance of the heritage of The Parachute Regiment & Airborne ForcesWe are controlled & our operations overseen by a board of trustees

Scouting is the largest co-educational youth organisation in the World with over 28 million members world-wide.Scouting exists to contribute to the development of young people by helping them grow up to be self-reliant, responsible and caring citizens.It is open to those of all faiths and offers equal opportunities to all young people aged between 6 and 25 years old in the community.

The restoration, preservation, and maintenance, for the public benefit the historic vessels known as M.T. Kent and M.T. Fearnought and/or such other vessels as may come into the custody or ownership of the C.I.O. This is achieved via the efforts of volunteer deck and engine room staff. Based in No 1 Basin Chatham Maritime. We visit as many maritime events in the east and south east as possible.

To raise funds for benefit of the education, well being and environment for the pupils, staff and community of Parkwood Primary School, Gillingham, Kent, through activities and events.

Build strong relationships between parents, teachers and children of Rochester Riverside CofE Primary School and with the local community; and provide events and resources to enhance the education of all pupils.

National Youth organisation for boys & girls aged 12-18 aiming young people towards the responsible standards of the Royal Navy.

The Teaching of Young people life skills as well as giving opportunities for adventures and new experiences via scout camps.

The aim of the scout association is to promote the physical, moral, intellectual and spiritual development of young people. The method whereby we seek to achieve this aim is by training scheme (the Balanced Training Programme) which is both enjoyable and challenging. All scouting activities are underpinned by the Scout Promise and Law.

Undertake voluntary work in Social Services and similar charitabe activities amongst those classes in need thereof within the Areas of Chatham Rochester and Strood and Adjacent Parishes within the Borough of Medway.

Music organisation (brass band); promoting brass band music through public and private events such as contests, concerts and entertainment.

Our charity is a parent/teacher association supporting Danecourt School (for children with special needs). Our aim is to enhance and support the excellent educational experience they receive.

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Medway and its surrounding locality.

The object of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Raising Youth provides support services to individuals aged 0-19 (and those aged 20-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Mental Health Conditions) living and/or working in Kent and Medway. Our services cover topics such as Mental Health, Growth & Development, Sexual Health, Employment, Advice & Guidance & Signposting.

Bearsted Choral Society is a mixed choir of approximately 40 voices. Membership is open to all ages, though at present all singers are adults. We perform a variety of concerts each year.

The BAE Systems Rochester Central Charity Fund was established to collect employee charitable contributions to distribute to charities mainly in the Kent and Medway area.The fund is managed by the Rochester Central Charity Fund Committee which is made up of employees from BAE Systems Rochester.
